Today is the HW111A presentation by other groups in my tutorial group. Below is one story which i think it is very touching...

There is a 21 year old guy and his grandfather in the room. A bird flew in and landed on the window grille, the grandfather asks his grandson what is that? The grandson replied " a sparrow ". In a while, the grandfather asks his grandson " what is that bird? " Now, the grandson was feeling a little irritated and he replied " a sparrow ". In another moment, the grandfather asks his grandson the same question again. At this moment, the grandson shouted back " why do you keep asking me the same question over and over again? it's a SPARROW! " The grandfather went into the room and took out his diary and asks his grandson to read one part aloud. It says " Today, a bird flew in and landed on the window grille. My grandson asks me " what is that bird? " and he asks me the same question 21 times and i answered him 21 times.

This is regarding the communication between elderly and the young.

busy with school work. and other stuff.
many things happened recently too, and they make me very confused.

days have been going one fine...
briefly, there are many activities going on now and i have not been working on my tutorials and lecture notes.
don't really have the mood to study these few days. hope this will not go on anymore!!!
need to really buck up now! its already week 5 of school!

well. anyway, i have to sell flowers and love letters now to raise funds again... but looks like i won't have any sales. sad. and this week is SPMS week! i have to be at the booth tmr, 5.30 to 6.30pm. hope it would be quite fun though! and thursday i have to help with the wrapping of flowers! friday too! but with CAC. so this week is going to be quite a busy week... and i need to really make full use of my time this week to catch up with the lost time!

and i went for the briefing for YOG on saturday! there are many benefits and my sis and i joined something called the events coordinator? eh. something to do with events i think. we were thinking of either ticketing officers or this job. so we decided on this because it would be at the YOV! i guess there would be many people there and wanting to know more! :) hope to meet those athletes! many preparation to be done too! just hope that i would not forgot about it. haha.

went shopping with my brother and sister on friday night at imm. my brother wanted to buy clothes for CNY and he asked us to go, saying that he would buy something for us. so he bought 2 jeans for his work and CNY. at imm, i can't really find what i wanted. so my brother said the next day go jp and have a look. so on saturday, my sis and i went jp after the briefing for YOG. we studied for a while before going to shop as my brother said he would be there at around 5plus, but in the end, he was very tired and said that he need to alter his jeans. so we went walking around and bought many stuff! haha. since he said he would pay for us, we try to keep the budget to around 40 per person. i had quite a fun time shopping! it had been a long while since i shopped so happily and most of all, without really having to think about the monetary cost! very nice! thanks brother! hehe. well. and he needs to get a bag and wallet real soon! maybe if things goes well in the next few months ( which i really hope it will!!! BETTER! ), then i will buy for him bah! and on sunday, we also went shopping with him for tops and shoes in imm again because it was already quite late when we set off. but there were nothing much. jp is a better place in the west area.
so, i have spent a lot of time going out shopping... and i need to start now! really START!
but i don't know where to start... why? because i don't have any tests now, the first test is on 24th feb, 2 more weeks to go... i see people studying hard for tests, but i don't. i felt very guilty... argh. i think that it is better to have some tests, but spread them out please! at least, in the last semester, we have small quizzes for math, so we will study for them because the marks are supposed to be give-away ones! well. now i just have to keep reading and maybe re-doing the tutorials again to keep up! jiayou!
CNY is in less than a week's time! i must suffer now so as to enjoy later! :)

2nd week of school...
getting back to study mood already, i suppose.
and i just dropped one core module which is supposed to be taken in year 2 sem2. hope i made a good decision! more time for other modules... must get a better gpa this sem!

first week of school!!!
lecture only starts on wed, so i only went to school for 3 days...
many things had changed...
the professors, notes...
well. this sem's professors are not as good as last sem's. they don't really explain very well. i guess a lot of hard work will be needed.
and i have been slacking all along... didn't have the mood to study. always thinking of play... argh. i must change this bad habit! get back to studying mood soon! and it must be real soon!
this sem's modules are much tougher...

happy new year!!!

went to help out to collect newspapers and electrical appliances at serangoon area on sunday... 9.30am till around 5pm.
the people there thought we are doing it for charity or others. but we were doing it for our school activities... some of them were saying "all these clothes can be given to children... " and my friend and i were feeling quite bad about it. its like we are selling and the money will be used for our camp. we are not being helpful or something... that's what i thought la. hopefully the money will be very very well spent then!

had a 6S class gathering on saturday. 7pm till 1.30am the next day. we met at city hall mrt station and walked to timbre the substation... it had been a long 8 years since we last met. chatted about what we are doing now, where are we studying at... wah. 2 of them even are now australian citizens! they studied there for quite a number of years already. i think life there will be easier. heard from them that the cars there are very cheap. and almost each of the students there own a car! WAH!!! i also hope to own one soon!!! argh.
so we chatted... till around 10.30pm. thought of going chevrons for Han's as it will be opened till 3am. udit, rachel and victoria went home earlier and the rest of us went Han's. reached there at around 11.30pm. then ordered some drinks and chatted again. some ate supper. we left at about 1.10am. since they are all very full, they walked me home... haha. yeah. no need to take cab home (which is just 2 bus-stops away), or walk home alone ( so dark! ). then they took cab home afterwards...
although only 15 ppl came out of 40 ppl(or 39?), it was a nice class gathering though. we should meet up more often! haha.

another mahjong session tmr! yeah!
but...
last week of holidays! 6 more days left to enjoy before another battle begins!!!

lost. luck was not at my side. well... but it is still quite okay. take it as a game. have fun before the school starts. i won't be able to play mahjong till after my exams in may... so, just take it as it is!

i won a little bit... wonder when will i get such good luck at jl's house again... haha. hope it will go into the new year!

anyway, the individual results for semester 1 is out! hmm... i am quite sad for my forensic... B-. worst. it pulled my gpa down! argh. but i am happy for my biochem! haha. A+ leh! at least my core are A- and above so i hope it will continue to the next several semesters! :)

went to watch Sherlock Holmes on sunday with hy, yq, shirley... at first, jl can make it but she have smth on and needs to go back for dinner... went to have dinner first at one restaurant... forgot what's the name already. jl join us too. sat there till around 5.25pm then went to buy some drinks and sent jl off home and went in...
it was quite a nice movie... the actors were quite handsome... but i don't really like the ending... well... not a bad movie in all... can go watch. :) sherlock holmes is super incredible... deduction skills... superb!!! maybe i will go watch again if anyone wants to watch... haha.
so after the movie, we went to the library with hy... then we were talking to go arcade play to help hy de-stress... so we went to play... very fun... haha. played till 10.15pm then headed home...

went escape on monday with TGC. and i was super late. we meant to meet at 9am and i woke up at 9am. so i was rushing, bathe and pack stuff... met them at 9.30am downstairs... was so sorry and guilty about it... then we went macdonalds for breakfast and head off to je mrt. chatted on the train... sharon went korea. heard from her that the things there are not as expensive... still affordable... all along, i thought that korea is an expensive country. well... maybe only some places are not expensive. not bad. i also want to go korea someday!!! but it may be a 5 years' later kind of thing... haha. reached there at about 11.15am, took the free shuttle bus to downtown east. reached there at 11.30am... bought the tickets at only $6.30!!! fl got a one-for-one voucher and she got nebo card, so her ticket was $7.50, free one person, another 2 $17.70, free one person... so total each person only pay $6.30. i think the counter person counted wrongly, the $7.50 shouldn't be free one person... so we were lucky. haha. went wet & wild first, as the weather was quite hot... and in the end, my whole shorts and shirt was wet... the person sitting behind had the most water splash. haha. but it was fun la. we tried almost all the games. haunted house(they asked me to go la! but it was not as scary. no real person acting as ghost), yakult, ferris wheel(it break down when the next one to alight was sharon and i!!!and shiting and fenglan already got off!), go-kart(only fenglan and i tried as sharon and shiting didn't want to), wet & wild, aeroplane, roller coaster and pirate ship(i was scared of this but they asked me to try. i tried and i sat nearest to the middle but i still can't get over this fear! when it was coming down, my legs were shaking and got cramps while my hands were shaking too and held on tightly to the pole... wah. terrible!!! but i think if u sit another 2 to 3 more times, it will be okay already... just that i don't know whether i will survive even the 2nd one or not! ) ...
ate orange julius for lunch(a hotdog) and wanted to continue playing. but it started pouring. heavily! (around 1.40pm) we waited for a while and decided to go arcade to play. haha. somehow got addicted to the car games there. saw some zai ppl driving manual there. super good skills. i can't drive manually there although i got a manual licence... it is different somehow... too fast i think. haha. we played till 4pm and went to have our early dinner at just acia! free flow drinks and ice-cream. got 10% discount for students before 5pm too. that is why we had an early dinner! haha. quite a cheap place for dining... then we continued playing till around 7.45pm and headed home... went to imm to buy 50% discounted sushi before home... haha. whole body aching now...

today... went ducktours with my mum. it was a free ride as my mum use her points for this... we didn't sit ducktours before so we decided to give it a try... it was a messy scene when we reached. so many ppl, not sure where to line up. too little counter ppl... wah. and this is supposed to be a tourist attraction activity and everything is so... confused? mixed up? disorganized is the word i suppose.
so at 12pm, we waited for the 'duck' to come and the ppl to alight so that we can board. while the people are alighting, there was a kid with his mum who fell down while coming down the stairs. guess what? no one came to help. there was this crew who just stared and i am not sure whether she helped them or not. then she walked away with a face saying that 'wah. not my fault'. that is what i deduced la. so inconsiderate... in my mind, i was thinking ' it is going to be all these people who damaged the reputation of singapore!' =.= really a pity. imagine beside my mum and i, all are tourists! and they saw this scene! well. well. well.
so we board the 'duck'... went around the fountain of wealth and head to the river... went on the sea. a little bumpy but no water splash at all! i think if there is a little water splash, the kids will like it more! went around the sea. merlion, floating platform, marina bay sands resort construction and many more...top 3 highest buildings. not bad. the tour guide told us some history of singapore which i didn't even know! haha. so my knowledge of singapore grew a little bit from this tour. the travelling time on the sea took about 35mins to 40mins i think. then we u-turned back to the land... went around supreme court, padang and others. then went back to suntec city boarding area... it was quite a fun experience, except that it gets boring at some times. took some pictures too!
i think other countries should have such tours so that tourists will know more about the country there are visiting... although it may not be as worth as the price stated. haha. but it is still a good activity to do when tourists are in singapore. :)

so after ducktours, we went to have our lunch ( i was super hungry, didn't had my breakfast! ) and walked around suntec city... headed home afterwards...

so now i am at home! heard from my sis who heard from weijie that our GPA is out! so i went to check... hmm. i must see the individual grades before i can decide whether to be happy or sad. but for now, my GPA is not what i want it to be. have to wait till tmr! good luck to me! :)

4A class gathering today!!!
at first, i didn't really feel like going but since i am the co-organiser, i have to go...
so today, i woke up at about 10.50am and we are going to meet 12noon at harbour front mrt station... wah. late le. then went to bathe... leave house at 11.15am to take 188 there. planned to meet jiayi and keith at je but i was already late so decided to go there straight.and i reached there 12.02pm. late for 2 mins. guess what? only keith, jiayi and yunxiang was there. then we waited for a while... some ppl sms to say that they will be late... so we went walking around first. went to rooftop to play cards... then kelvin and marcus came... after a while, sihua and cherie came... decided to go marche to look for seats first and some of us need to go off early, some of us are hungry... began eating... chatted about our everyday lives... then fongzun, zijie and jeremy came at about 1.30pm. wah. 1 1/2 hr late. not bad not bad. sat till around 2.15pm i guess and we left marche. we went to look for places where we can exchange presents and chat... i got yunxiang's present ( a pen ) and keith got my present ( adidas water bottle )... then keith yunxiang and marcus went off... so the rest of us ( kelvin, zhanyang, fongzun, zijie, jeremy, jiayi, cherie, sihua and me ) sat at pacific coffee house and chatted... played a game called " shoot, shag, marry " . given a choice of 3 guys or girls, choose which one would u shoot ( meaning don't really like ), shag ( eh... ) , and marry... quite fun game... it shows what people think of u. hmm. ok. i think not bad la. then we sat till 4.50pm. fongzun and cherie had to leave early... then the rest of us went home. but in the mrt train, kelvin suggested that the rest of us go prawning at jurong area... i think it is quite interesting and new to me, so i went, of course with sihua (or else i will be the only girl)... haha. $30 for 3hrs ( sihua jiayi and me shared one rod ).
this experience is fun and quite exciting (only when there is a prawn biting)... otherwise, it is quite boring and requires eye attention... the lighting there makes it difficult to see the 'float'. it is also a game of patience... but fun! :) i got 2 prawns!!! yeah! and they are very big ones... very heavy when they got onto the hook... needed help from others when i caught mine! hehe. can go prawning next time too! but there are not many prawns in the jurong one, they say go to the bishan better... but bishan is so far... haha. well... it is a nice experience afterall! and we barbequed the prawns after that. although i can't really eat prawns, i still ate 3 because i have to eat! i caught them! hehe... my throat still feel quite itchy though, but its okay! yeah!
nice class gathering! hope there will be more coming soon! thanks xuelian for organising it, although she didn't come. haha.

anyway, forgot to say some other things about my switzerland trip! the transport (train) is super expensive... a 4-day swiss pass cost around $270 for one person... ( how many trips can u take with S$270? maybe it can be used for 6months's transport here in singapore? ) although it includes free entry to some museums ( really only some i think. we still need to pay for entry to the transport museum)... well. but i feel their trains are really quite good. nice seats. can eat and drink in the train... its like taking a plane, just that u don't feel the pain in ur ear... and u can choose seats. take more seats than u need too!
another thing is the taxi there is super expensive... starting cost is 6swiss francs (around S$8) and every 5 to 8sec it increases by 20cents swiss francs. we took a cab from luzern to my bro's sch, which is about 15mins journey time if my memory didn't fail me... and it cost 32+ swiss francs (around S$45). super scary. when i look at the meter and see how fast it jump, my heart aches...
so these show that transport is singapore is very affordable... i think comparing the standard of living, transport in singapore is still more affordable than switzerland... very scary... we took cab home from changi airport when we came back from switzerland and it only cost S$24. travelling time definitely more than 15mins... wah... singaporeans should be grateful. i think taxi fees in singapore are very cheap compared to other countries, like hongkong... so please, take taxi if u really need to! do not complain that it is too expensive, just say that u can't afford will do. just like i can't afford or can't bear to take taxi, because there are other public transport which i can also take. :)

well... been missing switzerland... when i went to marche today, i just realised that it is a swiss restaurant... no wonder there is rosti, and the sasuage, crepe... all found in switzerland! but it is definitely cheaper here! i miss the SNOW there, the mountains, cable cars, town, train... almost everything!!! argh... and their pace is slower, the shops close at 6pm so the workers do not need to work late and their start of work is around 9am... slow pace. very nice... no wonder many want to go other countries to work or even migrate... partly, it is also singaporeans' fault that the pace in singapore is so fast. too competitive. and singapore is very small. well... can't really blame anyone.
argh... switzerland switzerland switzerland... hope i can go there again SOON! but i don't think so, unless miracles happen! :)

played mahjong today! at my house... with caroline, pearl and yanqiu!
haha. played 2 rounds today... for like 8hrs. lol.
but still fun la. must play next time too!

just registered my courses on 22nd dec. didn't get what i planned for... well... hope i can still change my index number and get a better timetable! now i have to go school everyday!!! anyway, holidays is ending soon... 2 more weeks to enjoy!
hope it will be a good 2 weeks!

just came back from switzerland trip!!! :)
yeah!
departed on the 10th dec morning 0200hours and came back on the 18th 1430hours.
had a connecting flight to DOHA and then to ZURICH.
this connecting thing is really very sian. nothing to do at DOHA airport... we don't have the currency and can't buy anything there. so we just slept for that 3hours or so. and we need to take a bus from the airport to the plane... a new experience though, it is quite a waste of time... just now we took the bus to the plane (coming back to singapore), and the bus just stopped in front of the plane without opening the doors to let us alight. because they haven't finished uploading the luggages and others. we waited in the bus for like 20mins or so. there was one guy who was very angry and banged on the doors. the ppl outside were like oblivious to the noise. but a while later, they opened the doors and let us into the plane. =.= its like if u haven't finished uploading luggages or whatever, u shouldn't even let us board the bus in the first place. make us wait in the bus for 20MINS. its not 20seconds... and we don't really know what is happening. what a bad thing to do. we were standing somemore... haiz. so there was a delay in take-off. delays in both the flights somemore. from zurich to doha and from doha back to hometown.

well. anyway, the first flight from sg to doha took 8hrs and from doha to zurich took about 5hrs... total 13hrs to zurich. can't really sleep on the flight there. think too excited or something. haha. maybe the seat is not comfortable. hmm.
reached there about afternoon 10th dec. there was a timelag of 7hrs between sg and zurich. my bro came to fetch us and we went to INTERLAKEN. bought the swiss pass (4-day), but at the end of the 4-day, we bought another swiss pass(4-day), didn't thought that we need to take the train on the last 4 days... so waste some money here... heard that the swiss train is the best in the world. board the train from zurich airport to interlaken. i think the journey took around 2hrs. didn't keep track of the time. the train was not bad. the seat i think is better than the plane's seats. haha. so talked about my bro's life in switzerland in the past 6 months... reached interlaken at evening time... it was very cold. my mum, sis and i wore only 1 shirt and 1 jacket inside and the temperature was like around 5degrees? freezing. shivering. so we went to check-in to the hotel. hotel MERKUR. the main doors of the hotel closes at around 10pm, so we got a bunch of keys for the main door too. first time i heard of this... hmm. well. the shops here closes very early... like 6pm 6.30pm... we stayed at this hotel for only 1 night. luckily. the room is quite small. and the breakfast not very nice... restrict one bread to one person. i can't really remember what we ate for the 1st dinner there. but i think we shared because the food there was very expensive. one meal cost about 18francs ( ~S$25). shocking... but its because the standard of living there was very high. people can afford. although the pace was slower than singapore. 1st night there, we came back to hotel quite late, around 11plus. i think we went BERN.

2nd (11th) :
we checked-out of the hotel and walked about 5mins to the next hotel. also in interlaken, called the hotel wreiss-kruez or smth. can't remember the spelling. stayed here for 3 days. this hotel is much better... the person there even told us which places to visit and help us plan and gave us some ideas to work on. introduce the hotel facilities to us too. the room is much bigger (got heater too), the breakfast is much nicer...
after breakfast, we went up to the mountain Grindelwald to shop at the 'village' there... and there was SNOW! HAHA. very fun. threw snow at my mum, bro and sis. first time seeing snow leh! very white! then we took a cable-car to the FIRST, another mountain where people can ski, sledgh... but we reached there quite late, so the person advised us not to sledgh down because we can only play for like 1 hr, not worth the money... she said we can walk in the snow down to the next cable-car station and take the cable-car back to Grindelwald... haha. so we walked! when we were walking to the start point, there was a person who told us not to walk because he tried walking and the snow was very slippery... but we still continued walking. HAHA. very nice. can slide down... like sledghing... but my mum was very scared. she fall down like about 100times ( hmm, maybe around 50times). super funny sia. lol. it was around a 30mins walk. actually can walk at our own pace but the last cable-car was 4.15pm and we had only like 40mins to walk. haha. nice nice. then at the last 50metres, i roll down and slide down the snow. super fun! :) then we saw that the cable-car suddenly stopped. and we heard that there was an error. so walking in the snow is like a blessing in disguise for us, but not for my mum. haha. i think she rather to be trapped in the cable-car than to walk in the snow. so we waited for a while, took some photos, and the cable-car resumed. haha. so we sat down to Grindelwald. i think in the middle, the cable-car stopped again... took some photos too. we went to interlaken ost to have our dinner...

3rd (12th) :
we went up to the highest mountain Jungfrau ( pronounced as Yongfrau ), about 11000metres above sea level... haha. felt a pain in my ears when ascending. not bad... went to the ice palace. everything there is ice. the floor, the railings, the 'ice' sculpture... slippery though. haha. took some photos too. wanted to sledgh but it was closed... husky pulling the sledgh leh!!! haha. but what a pity...

went luzern (lucerne) after that to get to know where is our hotel FLORA in luzern and know where my brother stay, go look at his results too. FIRST CLASS HONOURS... haha. not bad not bad. then we went back to interlaken...

4th (13th) :
in the morning, my mum, sis and i went walking around the town of interlaken... didn't have time to shop at the shops in interlaken, either the shops are already closed or we are not in interlaken when the shops are open. bought some postcards, chocolates... after our lunch, i think we went to BERN (capital of switzerland) to walk around... then at night, my brother went back to his hostel to pack some of his things while we went back to our hotel in interlaken to pack our things for check-out the next day...

5th (14th) :
the 3 of us check-out of the hotel and bought another 4-day swiss pass. boarded the train to luzern. 2hrs train ride. when we reached there, we rested for a while and went to explore the town of luzern on our own... took bus 53 to emmen centre, the biggest shopping centre in luzern (as said in the brochure). but the things there were very expensive... cannot afford. only went there to get a free chocolate. haha. we left at around 3pm as my bro will be coming to meet us...
went to see the Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge around the town of luzern... went around OLD TOWN street too, where the things there are cheaper (by a bit), and went to have our dinner at a Thai restaurant where we had tomyam soup (best for cold weather)... there were some misunderstanding and they served us an extra dish so our dinner that day was super expensive. 80francs=~S$110. heart-ache... what's more is that that extra dish is not nice at all... well. we went to take a look at the Chapel Bridge... there were many swans and ugly ducklings there... very nice view. but at night can't really see well. then we walked back to our hotel while my bro went to play games in starbucks.

6th (15th) :
we went up to the mountain MOUNT PILATUS. took bus 1 to the place and walked all the way up to the cable-car station... quite a far distance. actually can just take bus 15 to the station but we didn't know. took a small cable-car to the second station and a big cable-car to PILATUS. SNOW again! :) played with the snow. walked up and took some photos. even my mum played with us. think she not really scared of snow since that day. haha. that's a good thing. actually i wanted to buy a pilatus shirt and my sis a pilatus jacket but it was not very worth... only bought a keychain and a torch which requires no battery to operate. quite worth but we found out that it cost 18francs in other places whereas 22francs here. met my bro's friend and family there too. then we went back to the bus 15 together. it was them who told us that bus 15 can come here. haha. went to see my bro's working place (hotel CENTRAL) at kruiezz(not sure how to spell)... the boss was quite nice. then went back to the luzern bahnhof to have our lunch at old town again. this time round, we have asian food. roasted duck and beancurd... hmm. not very fantastic but still better than other food. this dinner also cost a lot. around 80francs too. shopped around in old town for a gift for my elder brother... in the end, we bought a working shirt for him. then went back to the hotel.

7th (16th) :
today is my bro's graduation day... we went old town to shop in the morning from 9 to 12noon and bought some blouses, chocolates... then had our lunch and went to GRAND CASINO Hotel for his graduation at 2pm. took some photos too. we left at around 5pm and decided to go bern shop shop as i didn't really have a clear impression of the city of bern yet. but we didnt' buy anything there... only bought a drumstick each for our dinner... very nice. haha.

8th (17th) :
today is the last day in switzerland... ate our breakfast and went back to the hotel room to pack our things... but my sis and i slept till like 10.15am... my mum said my bro will be coming soon to fetch us to the airport so we must get ready. so we went to the Bahnhof and waited for him... went to zurich flughaven (airport). did some last minute shopping (chocolate), actually wanted to buy a swatch watch but it is like buy just for the sake of buying... although i quite like it, i want a metal strap watch... but still open to other choices la. haha. so the flight delayed again...

reached DOHA at 11pm. waited 3hrs, thirsty, hungry, tired but can't get to sleep due to the many announcements asking people to get to their gate as the boarding gate is closing soon... another delay but we still reached singapore in good time. within the stimulated timing. not bad.
watched several movies on the trip... such as UP, G.Force, On his Majesty's service (or mission) - very funny , Turning Point, Taking Chance, Overheard... ... not bad. had a chance to catch up what i had missed...

had fun on this trip although a bit regretful that shopping time was too little... or rather there were not many shops around... well... there will be a next time! :)

time flies... just 4 months into university life and life had been hectic so far. more to come, i believe.

well, so for the past 1 week, i have been enjoying myself... catching up on fb games, other games, meeting up with ppl (although i have been pangseh-ing ppl), buying and packing stuff for my switzerland trip this wednesday night....
yes! i am going to switzerland! for my brother's graduation! going there for close to 9days... :) and its winter now! yeah! it is going to be my first time seeing snow! but i am going to eat grass for the next few weeks... argh. but nvm... once in a lifetime trip!

went for a chalet in ntu with naruto!!! wah. its really a nice idea to have a chalet there. free lodging, quite near my house, free bbq pit (although we didn't manage to have it, so we bbq on aluminium tray)... very nice... better than going far far away and need to pay! haha. not bad. very fun... we played games such as taboo, saboteur, big 2, harry potter uno, and many more... and i stayed up throughout the night till around 8.30am then i went to sleep... haha. quite a big deal to me... :)
i love the game 'saboteur'... very nice! need to use brain!
we celebrated nov babies birthday during the chalet too... went new york new york to have our lunch... quite funny. we get to hear some gossips... and menghui has a girlfriend! haha. some of us guessed as much too. photos are in fb... lazy to upload here... haha.

i have to plan my timetable for next sem soon... guess it will be after i come back from my trip... 18th... :)

so well, let's enjoy this holiday and it's going to be a hectic time next semester too! come on!

time really flies...
it has been 13weeks into school already. remembering about the days in jc where time passed quite slowly... 10weeks for a term seems so long. but now, 13 weeks just passed like a flash of light.
2 more weeks to final examinations and a semester is gone! just like that! our semester only lasts for about 17weeks, including exams... that is including one week break in the middle too. and we have to learn so many stuff within this ... hmm. 13 weeks? that is lightning speed!
wow.
well... i think 4 years will pass very very fast.

just had a 113 test. hope it will pull my grade up because i did badly for the previous test, which i think can score in that test. jiayou!

went to buy xuelian's present just now at jp, with most of the CBC ppl. we ate durian at durian empire. not bad i would say. can go there again, although the prices are quite expensive. then ate at pepper lunch. not very nice though. haha.

woke up very early today! 6.30am. to prepare to attend my cousin ( i think)'s wedding!
we left at about 8.35pm to go grandmother's house... so we reached there quite early (supposed to reach there at about 9.30am), about 9.05am. luckily, we reached early, because the tea ceremony is pushed forward to about 9.15 9.20am. we children stand there watching the tea ceremony. it was quite okay... then went to eat some noodles as breakfast. after that, took some photos (wonder will the photos be given to us?) and the newly-weds went off to other places. so the adults sat at the table talking while we the children sit on the sofa, watching tv and playing cards. played till 11.25am and we started to set off to M hotel. reached there at about 11.55am. then sat there waiting for the lunch to start. i think the cocktail start at 12, because there were some waiters and waitresses there to serve us drinks. drank a lot, at grandmother's house and during the cocktails. not alcoholic drinks yet. YET. haha. waited quite long outside the banquet suite. we went in at around 1330 only. then there was video-screening. but the quality of the sound is really terrible. not sure if its the file or the sound system problem. its like there was a cut every 3sec. or every 1sec. and a song was also playing. then it goes "zizz zizz" something like that. haha. very very terrible. i hope its not the file problem or i am saying my own family.
anyway, after the video, the newly-weds came out... then after a while the lunch started.
8-course lunch. the first dish's entry into the banquet suite is very grand. lightings and sounds. wow. lol. but sounds nice, don't really taste nice overall. (did i just say the hotel's name? eh. )first-some appetizer i think. there was crispy prawn ( i ate although i can't eat prawns, must eat! lol. ), sushi, i think its popiah, and others. quite little potion. and the prawn is not bad. but after eating the prawn, my throat became itchy. aww... then my bro, sis and i ordered red wine. hehe. not very nice. the flavour is not there. i am not a expert wine-drinker, perhaps it is supposed not to have any flavour or smth... well. not sure abt that. then here comes the second dish-sharks' fin. hmm. sharks' fin was there. but the taste was not there. third-mushroom with broccoli. and the great thing is here. when the dish comes, i asked my bro what is this. and the waitress heard me and she replied abalone with broccoli. it doesn't even look like abalone at all. the colour is darker and the 'abalone' is thinner. and the menu says its mushroom with broccoli. nice nice. i want to laugh but its rude to laugh in front of the waitress. fourth-sea bass. again, it is not up to expectation. no taste. i think its not sour enough or smth. the newly-weds make their way in again to drink the nuptial wine. fifth-roast chicken. hmm. not bad. the skin is crispy. one of the best dishes so far. and the waitress gave me a drumstick! haha. sixth-prawns with some vegetables. but this time i didn't eat the prawn. don't look very nice to me. haha. the vegetables is not nice also. seventh-noodles. as usual, confirm will have noodles. quite dry. last and final dish-mango pudding. smell like mango but don't really have mango taste. the small cubes of mango don't taste like mango. perhaps, the red wine covered the taste or smth. then our family and my mother's brother and his wife sat down to rest for a while and we were the last to leave the banquet suite. took a last photo and left.
overall, well, i would think its okay even though the food was ...
i think it is my second time attending a wedding. quite fun. i think the next wedding is my mother's third brother's daughter's. july next year bah. yeah. another wedding to attend. haha. fun!
everyone get together as a family. nice nice. :)

and i think i drank too fast. my head is spinning now. argh.

today's paper is quite a failure... i had made many careless mistakes!!! argh. the feeling is really terrible... haiz. well... i must really buck up!!!

anyway, went out with TGC today. sharon was not free so 3 of us went out. at first, we wanted to bowl but need to wait for 45 mins. so we went to play pool! was very scared at first, but subsequently, it was quite fun! i want to play pool again! haha. then we left bb and went imm to have our dinner. cafe cartel. the food was okay... quite expensive though... once in a while... hmm.

time really flies!!! 1 more month to my final exam! 2 more weeks to one test and another 2 weeks to final exam! wah... i have been in school for about 11weeks already... so fast. need to buck up and pull my socks up!!!

i think part of the blame is on me. i didn't really do a lot of questions before the test. i am supposed to know how to do question 1, 4 and 5!!! that is the minimum! but i only know how to do question 5. hopefully, really hopefully i can get full marks for qn5. so that my goal of 10/20 can be reached.

wow! played mahjong yesterday!!! met at jl's house at 1.30pm yesterday! then have our lunch and its mahjong time! xy,jl,shirley and i played while the rest watched tv and movies... hy left at about 3.30pm as she needs to go church and night safari at night! was quite lucky the first round... i got ban se plus zi mo. very nice. i think this is the first few times i can really get ban se. haha. yeah! got ping hu sometimes too... :) nice. very very very lucky i would say. when i don't know what to throw next and i just throw one of the tiles, the tile which i need will come. wonderful tiles! i would say yesterday's session was more of luck rather than skill. because there is one time i diao zheng for quite long and jl's mum came to play and i lost my zhuang position... so, afterall, skill is the most important.
really a nice game yesterday! and i won like $60 to $70 ++. felt quite bad though... and xy sent me to boon lay interchange in cab. aww. thanks!

recess week is almost over! it is already saturday! time really flies...

i only went out on wed night and yesterday evening...
we had a gathering on wed. celebration of the mid-autumn festival. daryl organised it and asked the cbc ppl to go too... raymond also asked some mas people who is staying in hall to go too. it was quite fun. i thought it will be very strange because there were people from other og from cac foc camp. but we just stayed together as a group. don't really care abt the rest. haha. had some games and mooncakes... played with lanterns too. we took some photos also.

then, yesterday, met up with naruto and our seniors for bbq. i thought it will be a mid-autumn festival too, but there were no mooncakes. well... was quite unhappy that they only reach about 5.30pm when they said they will buy the food at 4pm. so we bought food at 5.30pm then went to regina(our senior)'s house to prepare... waited for quite long before the bbq start. played a 'dare' game with geraldine and minfong. lol. the bbq started at about 7 plus i think... we girls prepared the drinks while the guys start the fire. seniors one pit and juniors one pit. haha. we also played cards while waiting. took turns to help bbq the food too. took a group photo also! haha. :)
only 3/4 of naruto came though... at least! yeah. then left at about 11.10pm as we had to catch the last train home from KOVAN! wah... or else will stay longer to play cards! haha.

this week really flies. and i had yet to study many things... sometimes even though i felt i had not studied a lot, i still can't get myself to study. its like i am still in holiday mood when it is already 8 weeks into school days... help!

went to see the qualifying round for f1 with my sis yesterday!!!
we had to buy earplugs and then we reached cityhall mrt at about 5.10pm. then we went to have our dinner first because we thought that we don't have time or can't come out to have our dinner when the race starts. after our dinner, we went inside. wah. the place was very big... we walked around... asking around where our zone is. the card reads that our zone is number 4, so we walked there. there are tents set up everywhere we go, selling the different f1 mechanise : ferrari, vodafone, brawn gp, the original f1 mechanise... haha. a lot, a lot. i thought that we have to buy at least something as a souvenir. :) so we walked and walked, looking for the less expensive stuff... then we saw a shirt : side by side f1. not bad. cost 40. there was another one that cost 80, a polo tee. both are nice... but 80 is very expensive... we considered for a long time. then we went around and bought a ferrari tank-top. cost 60. wah. heart-ache. and we realised that puma shops sell this ferrari tank-top too and it cost 59! lol. there are other nicer tops in the puma shop in marina square too! haiz. a little regret that we bought the tank-top... well. then after buying the tank-top, we went to buy 2 'side by side' tops. $40. nice nice. wanted to buy a f1 pin too. $15. but it was too expensive... so decided not to. spent a lot... wah.
after shopping around, we went to the grand-stand and stand there. there were many people on the grand-stand and we can't find places to seat. it started at 7pm. the practice session 3. the sound of the cars were very very loud. luckily, the earplugs helped a bit. took some photos but there were very blur... didn't bring camera there so only got my phone camera... there were quite a number of people who bought the big big cameras, the 'zai' ones. i saw some of the photos they took, very very clear. and 'zhun'! meaning, the shot was just nice. can see the whole car and the person clearly. nice... we stand and see for a while, after that, we continued to walk around the tents and went other places to watch the practice round. haha. then at around 8pm, the practice round was over. and the qualifying round was 2 hours later, so we went to marina square... went to find seats to sit down because we stand for quite long. legs very aching. went mac and ate mcflurry... after that, we went window-shopping around marina square... got a lot of f1 stuff... nice!
when it was around 9.40pm, we made our way back to the track. its the qualifying round! haha. we watched for around 30mins and also took photos. then walked around the tents again to consider buying other products... haha. and we went home after that! Lewis Hamilton was in pole position!

and the real race just started not long ago. it will be a nice and thrilling race! haha.

my organic test is a failure... and its 7%!!!
its my bad. my fault. i didn't really take this test seriously. when i got time to study, i play. when i don't have time to study, i panic. almost all mechanisms questions... one synthesis question. and the other just E/Z... haiz... my synthesis and mechanism questions are not very good... i think 30 marks is gone already... i can only hope that my other 70marks is good. i hope i can get at least 65marks. and its 7%!
argh... really my bad. :(

went shopping with my sis today!

heard from shirley(happy birthday too!) and the rest during saturday's get-together that levi's was having a 30% sale and today was the last day, so decided to go out shopping! :)
bought levi's jeans finally! just that the salesgirl was quite rude, she was quite frustrated when i told her to help me find and take this and that... well. nvm. also bought some shirts! haha. it was a long time since i had shopped! and i spent a lot today!!! wah. quite heart-ache.
nice day out though... at least have a break from studies! although there are 2 tests coming up!

went to celebrate shirley's birthday at xinyi's house yesterday!
it was fun! haha.
xy,jl and i met up at imm giant to buy the food for our steamboat at around 1.30pm. then shirley came and we took a cab to xy's house! we(eh, i don't think i helped much), especially the host (xy) prepared almost all the food! haha. thanks! and it's MAHJONG time after that! :) fun! didn't play mahjong with PRB for a long time already! haha. in the first round, i won $1.60. then we went to have our dinner at around 8.15pm. haha. so late! after dinner, we sang birthday song for shirley and ate the cake! the cake was nice! especially the strawberry! and we continued with a new player, yq, after that. :) and we played only the 'dong' wind because it was late and xy's parents and brother came home already... and i lost like $4.20. well, its okay! at least, we had fun! YEAH! hope there will be another mahjong session soon! have to make sure the whole of PRB knows how to play! haha. :)

its a day of fun yesterday! and today will be a day full of books and notes! jiayou!!!

got back my first chem test for the semester! went to see Prof Loh... when i looked at my paper, i was quite sad because i didn't get what i want... super sian. then queue up to see Prof Loh, there were many people waiting. thought of what qns to ask him and feedback to him... then waited and waited... soon, it was my turn. my first qn only got 10 marks, then he said " so little only? okay. give you full marks first ( not sure why he said 'first'. is the marks going to change? hope not. ) " . then to the second qn. he gave me 2 marks. and then to the third qn. he said " draw nicely? (because the person who marked wrote that) i think it is quite nicely drawn already and he gave me the remaining 5 marks. " so in total, i got 22 marks added to my original marks. HAHA. i was like quite shocked la. hmm... it was quite nice afterall because i thought that my first qn would be better. not bad not bad!
then went to meet menghui. after that we decided to meet michele for lunch at canteen b. then weisheng came to join us afterwards. after eating, we went to one tutorial room to study till around 2.20pm then went for tutorial. menghui and me crashed the 113 tutorial by the thai teacher. she was really not bad. her explanations are not bad! quite clear. better than my 113 tutor. HAHA. maybe i should crash her tutorial in future. after 113 tutorial, we went for matlab 2. at first, didn't really remember how to do... but it was okay after a while. just follow the worksheet and won't go wrong. except for some qns whereby have to ask the teacher... then at around 5pm, quite a number of people were leaving already when the session end at 5.30pm. so we marked our attendance, then left. wanted to stay on because i want to know how to do one qn, but since fl,mh and xl are already leaving, i decided to leave too. somemore, fl,mh and me got the chance to board the pioneer bus! yeah! saved $ AGAIN! haha. again because i took a non air-con bus to sch in the morning. they should sent more non air-con buses. it is really worth it! :)

another math test tmr. limits. hope it will be a perfect score again! yeah! and i will read up on the lab experiment tmr!!! must know what i am doing! jiayou! :)

well... yesterday went out for dinner with prb. we also discussed the next outing, outdoor or indoor, the plan, events... very exciting. haha.

this week gone by very fast. it is already friday. and i have not much time left. math test next week, 113 test the following week... i need to buck up! physics is getting on my nerves too. i need to balance all the subjects and not just concentrate on one or two. jiayou!
my lab partner changed this week, not sure why-maybe because this week 's lab is to be done by 2 pairs. haha. it is a blessing in disguise. yeah! hope it will remain permanent! HAHA.

my family went to choose our photos just now... that time we took the graduation photo. abt 3 weeks later, the photos are out. some photos are not bad, except for some defects. so... we took a very long time to choose our photos. we can only choose 3 out of 15 photos. we took like 1 and a half hours to choose. and the person was quite impatient already and he said he will help us to photoshop 2 photos to clear the defects so that we can see how is the effect. haha. he also allowed us to take home 3 photos too. yeah. some photos were really not bad la! :)

math test yesterday... it was okay. 10 mins for 2% of the overall grade. hope i can get the full marks.

today forensic science lecture was very fun!!! there was a guest speaker, a forensic pathologist. a nice career, just that i think one must have a lot of determination to be one because the whole course to be a pathologist, even a junior one, takes about 9-12 years (including 5 years in med sch). i think its a very nice career!!! the guest speaker said it will be a life-changing experience. he showed us some pictures which are real-life situations such as some horrible homicides, murders. gun-shots, decomposition of bodies, body parts found and others. they were very disgusting, but he said seeing death at such a close range will make him prioritise things and treasure life more. it is definitely a life-changing one. and there are only 5 forensic pathologists in Singapore! very professional job indeed. then he also showed us pictures of autopsy, how they identify bodies, find out cause of death, deduce things from crime scene... interesting!
it was a very nice lecture indeed. i was inspired.

well, anyway, there were some things that happened during the lecture that pukes me off. one was that the guest speaker said to switch off the front lights so that the pictures will be more obvious. but nothing much was done. and he said more than one time. the lights were really irritating. another thing was that the guest speaker said that no photography will be allowed but some STUPID people still continued to take photos of the pictures. he said more than one time too! there was this guy who sat behind me and it is so obvious that he is taking photos. when i turned behind, he acted as if nothing had gone wrong. WTH! really, sometimes i wanted to just stand up and say loudly to him that no photography is allowed. please hand over your DIGITAL camera. wonderful man, last week lecture the professor already said that no photography will be allowed during the guest speaker lecture and this person STILL bought a DIGITAL camera to take photos! really. i heard from minghui that he was a AT. i think they don't understand english at all la! really piss me off!!! and at one time, his flash goes off and the guest speaker saw it, and he said once again that no photography is allowed, but he STILL continued to take photos!
really throw the school name away. we are privileged to have this guest speaker and this is how we treated him??? i think the guest speaker will have a bad impression of the school. haiz... don't know what to do with such people!

anyway, it is over. just let it be.

well, tomorrow there is another test. organic chemistry. 5 chapters... really quite heavy stuff. must jiayou! i am inspired! :)

YEAH!!! PASSED with 16 POINTS!
the journey goes like this :

i reached at about 8.35am... still can't print out the allocation slip yet. so waited for a while then i saw my instructor. so i went to print out the slip. then went to the waiting room. he came shortly after. and he asked me to go warm-up now. it was still early. around 0900. he asked around if can go for warm-up now... so we went for warm-up session at about 0905. went for the circuit first. parallel parking, s-course, vertical parking, directional change and crank course. it all went quite smoothly. then we went outside. all not bad except that some mistakes occurred. like didn't see blind spots. then we went back to the circuit. my instructor told me to do parallel parking and directional change again. haha. looks like it is quite good to have your own instructor as your warm-up instructor. can have more time. then i went up and waited for the tester to come...

was very nervous... one by one the people went off with their testers... felt more intensed. and i saw my previous tester... was quite paiseh to see him again. haha. but i was lucky not to get him again. he was quite fierce. then after about 6 ppl, it was my turn. my first impression of my tester was that he was quite nice. he still allow me to take a look at the test route for a while and he waited for me. so nice. unlike my previous tester who just walked down without waiting for me and telling me to go down with him. well... then i walked down with him to the car. he told me some instructions and asked me to calm down and told me to go if i am ready. totally different from my previous tester where he did not say much.

so i went off. drove quite slowly. the first station was s-course (2). i was very nervous... but cleared it nicely. vertical parking (36) was next. quite okay too. then slope (51). okay too. directional change was next. at first i thought he wanted to go number 9 ( number 9 was the number that killed me previously ), i was so scared... then he said go number 10. heng. but i was still very nervous. went in and did it quite smoothly. heaved a sigh of relief. then crank course (13). okay. parallel parking (49 i think). not bad. after that, we went outside. test route 7. i think it was quite smooth just that i felt that the route was quite long. haha. then we went back to school. when i went back, i stop at the give way sign there ( the one before entering the circuit road ). then when i start to go, the engine stalled!!! argh. super sian. then i restart and go. but there was a motorcycle on my right. i just looked on my left only. wah. the tester said that i didn't check safety. SIAN. at that moment, i was really scared that i will fail due to that. i am not sure how many points will i get from that... aww...
then we went upstairs. i waited in the room... very nervous... prayed that i would pass. and YES! the tester came in and told me my mistakes. actually i wasn't really listening to him, i looked at the paper and i saw "congratulations!" haha. the tester was not very happy about it though... maybe because it was due to the motorcycle incident.
then he told me about going out to drive on the roads... need insurance all that. must put P plate too. then go down to room 1 to watch the video and do the licence.
haha... whatever it is, i just thanked him and went downstairs. i saw my instructor and gave him the paper. he said "heng ah!" lol. i wanted to give him the bookmark i bought for him... but didn't in the end. hmm.
so i watched the video and did my licence. the licence will reach my house within 1 month's time. in the meanwhile, if i needed to and can drive, i must bring the paper which says "you can drive while awaiting your licence". haha.
10 points in circuit and 6 points on the road.

just had my last driving lesson in the morning... and i strike kerb during directional change again! argh. i can't make any more such mistakes again!!! the rest was quite okay, just that i was a bit afraid of s-course... scared will strike kerb or what. i asked the instructor questions and he was like not concentrating on what i was saying la. he gave me an answer that was totally different from what i am asking. =.= haiz. really MUST pass.

well... this week is quite tiring. many things to be done.
firstly, we had our first lab session on tues. i was not really used to lab work yet, so i was a bit gong. luckily my lab partner was good, she was from poly so she had lots of lab experience. she helped me quite a bit. but, i will be better SOON! had my first tutorial too. my math tutor was quite good and nice. his explanations are not bad. then it was my 113 tutorial. hmm. the tutor spent the 1st 30mins talking about some unrelated stuff. and the whole lesson is only 60mins. he just showed the answer on the screen, didn't explain much. when minghui went to ask him about one question, he said " what's there to explain? " something like that. LOL. so we wanted to change tutorial classes... hope there are still vacancies.
wed and thurs was about the same... all lectures.
fri was okay. after lessons on friday, kaiyuan, michele and i went to collect our t-shirts. i was very shocked at the size of the shirt. heard from kaiyuan and peihong that the shirt that the shopowner showed to them during the making of the shirt was completely different. our shirts are smaller for the girls. i was quite sad about it. hmm. well. so we tried to ask them if we can change the size for the naruto shirt too, but they had already printed the deisgn on the front of the shirt... so... then we went back to ntu. i wanted to go home to put my bag but then didn't want because better to be early than late. i don't want to cause so many problems now that the shirts are a problem too. haiz... then my sis went to call the shop shirt to change the size and everything. in the end, we went home to put our bags because almost everyone are not bringing their bags. we took a cab home so that we will not be late. and it is peak hour! aww... we took the same cab home too. the driver was like not bothering about us. when we asked him if can wait for us downstairs so that we can just put our bags and rushed down. but he didn't answer. hmm... and the total cost was almost $20. heart-ache. then we ate mr bean for our dinner. i had tuna pancake because it was the last few. hmm... okay la. not bad. haha. then waited for pengyan to arrive then went there. he drove us there. yeah. but it was quite squeezy. not much space.
my first time going to ZOUK! haha. quite excited. had a free door gift. a geek specs. haha. quite fun. minghui wore a GEEK costume. super nice and funny. lol. not bad. he wanted to win the ipod shuffle by becoming the best dressed person! haha. actually he could have won la, but they played some games and he lost. this should be the best-dressed competition, not some games competition or what. well... its ok. you will have to wait for the best.
so, we went to have our drinks after that. screwdriver, bloody mary... then went down to the dance floor. the music was quite mundane... no nice songs. just some beats. haha.
then i stayed till around 11.20pm and went home with pengyang, minghui and cheekiat because of my driving lesson today. or i would have stayed with them! my sis told me they went back to hostel to play some games, like mahjong... nice la. i want to play mahjong! haha.
hope i can... ...

hope we can organise mahjong gathering again! :) yeah!
studies are getting more tough as time goes on... jiayou and everything will go on smoothly! that's what i believe! yes!

Just came back from the photoshoot for my brother's graduation!!!
haha, this is my first time taking such a photo. quite nice and fun! we took quite a number of photos, with different poses. some poses were funny. i hope that i can take more of such photoshoots! 1 year's time and 4 year's time! :)

then we went to have our dinner... at 9.40pm. the photoshoot end around 9.15pm. we went to some cafe near our place to have zhi cha! at first, we were deciding whether to go old house's market there or ang mo kio or eastern, chomp chomp... in the end, we decided to go with daddy's wishes. one man took our orders. he introduced us quite a number of dishes... so we had curry fish head, sweet potato leaves, frog legs, hot plate tofu. and many things happened.
the hot plate tofu had no taste. so daddy told the person that the dish had no taste and they re-cooked for us. in the end, it was qutie salty. and they served us kangkong instead of sweet potato leaves. then daddy went to tell the person, we already ate a bit. haha. and he changed to the sweet potato leaves. so we continued eating. the sweet potato leaves was not very nice though. kangkong is better. they should have just give us the kangkong too! well, then ate and talked. my sis realised that the frog legs were cooked differently. we ordered frog legs with garlic and onion but they served us frog legs with chilli. nice. we were talking about whether to tell the person because we had already finished the dish. haha. then we can get a new dish! lol. but don't dare to say out. haha. and the curry fish head had not much fish inside. all vegetables.
ALL the dishes got problem. nice man. never to go there eat again!
haha. but it was a fun dinner anyway!

yeah! i bought my first laptop yesterday! :)
nice nice. lenovo.
at first, i was considering between hp and fujitsu... but we went to harvey norman and the salesperson there advised us to buy asus or lenovo... with better specs.
i was quite indecisive, partly because the cost of a laptop is very expensive and i didn't really know what i need and want. hmm... so after a long day, i made my decision... haha. i think i won't regret it!

i also went for my driving lesson yesterday morning. and at the end of the lesson, i mount kerb at the directional change at number 9! same as that time during the test. also number 9! must really jiayou already! less than 2 weeks to go! :)

this week really flies!!!
its already friday!!! wah.
3 more days of holidays to go before the real battle starts!
i have got my timetable and it is really quite terrible. hope i can cope with it.

going shopping with toh guan club tmr afternoon. then bbq at night with zy they all. whole sat gone!
i think i will be able to rest on sun! yeah!
it will be a day of games on mon : mahjong, bridge, big 2... nice nice.

HAHA!!!

just came back from camp today! a 5D4N one!

this camp was better than what i expected...

1st day :

we met up at sembawang mrt at 11am. my sis and i were among the last to reach, then we were given naruto's hand band for our group. NARUTO is our group name! one girl by the name of peihong started to talk to us... not bad. at least know somebody... then we went to kopitiam to have our lunch. suddenly ( actually not very sudden la ), we knew about 3 other girls too... was chatting quite happily while eating... then some group leaders (GLs) and other girls came to chat with us... introduction. after that, we set off for the campsite. took bus 882 there. it was quite a fast journey there... then we waited. cleared those administrative stuff like temperature taking, H1N1 measures, collection of camp fee...

went to put our bags at a corner then played some ice-breakers games... crossing the river whereby we have to squeeze everyone(16 ppl) on like 8 chairs then from short to tall. luckily, some of us (the short ones) are already at the end of the line... hehe. then played a game where the Gls have to pick some cards, like A1 and 4 noses. so 4 ppl have to put their noses on the square A1. because the squares are a bit small, it is quite tough to do this. but our OG completed!!!

another game is like 5 ppl have to hide behind a cardboard and move when the person is not looking and stop to hide behind the cardboard when the person is looking. there was one time when 5 of us were moving too fast that we can't stop in time and we broke the wall. the station masters were quite shocked and angry that we broke the wall and they called us together after the rest of the games to give us a lecture. like we can't be too violent or something. well...our GLs supported us, saying that we should play as much as we can!!! YEAH!

another game was that we had 5 mins to know people from the other OG then guess the name. if wrong, the station masters will poke the balloon with flour and the flour will fall on your head and clothes... haha.

the games were not bad, quite creative.

it was banner painting after that. paint our NARUTO banner! then wrote all our names plus GLs names on it... the word "naruto" was in red,orange and yellow. so it was like the colour getting darker in each alphabet. quite nice, although we didn't win the banner painting in the end.

then it was dinner time. our first dinner. i was hoping for a decent meal, but i was wrong. 1 meat, 1 veg. not only for this meal. it was for ALL the meals! same. 1 meat, 1 veg. what a meal! super sian. everyone was like ... eh. haiz.

after dinner, we had this game: meet our SP (secret pal). we were blind-folded and talked to 2 ppl each. a short chat, around 10 mins i think. then went back to our og... the GLs asked us to choose A or B. i chose B because B is going to the same course as me. well...

then we had the initiation games. again, we were blind-folded. i hate being blind-folded. don't know what the GLs are doing to us... played some games and there was this GL who pour a mixture of soy sauce,vinegar and others on me. say i look very clean. then they pour again. i was super angry and i talked back at that person saying " idiot ah! better stop it! " and i pointed my index finger at the person ( i still can see quite a bit ). and this person said " u complain somemore, i pour more. " really a IDIOT fool! give u a F word! FOOLS!

what is this man? i mean, u can play la, but not to that extent! people ask u to stop means stop. we are not 3 year old kid anymore. come on la. then i was super bu shaung after that. and i also cried a bit la. thinking back, i shouldn't even have cried la. i should have just took off my blindfold and shouted at that stupid girl. =.=

haiz. then we played other games with the blindfold on. like tug of war. and i think we were pulling a pillar. quite stupid right, but think think, it was quite fun too. we also played question and answer game. the GLs asked us a question and one person have to answer or else the GL will spray water on the person. haha. and i got this question : who is the president of the US? nice one. so i didn't got sprayed. but in the end, everyone were sprayed. with the hose. haha.

so we played till around 1.45am... some of our GLs came to talk to me, saying that all this are only games, not to pin-point on ppl or what, tell me not to get angry... well.

i was not feeling very well so my sis and i went to bathe first. no one in the toilet. not bad la. haha. wash-up and slept at about 3am. can't really have a nice sleep at all. i was feeling a bit feverish then. keep tossing about in the sleeping bag. i think i only slept about 3 hours?

2nd day :

we woke up at about 7.30am, wash-up and met for breakfast. not sure what breakfast was... had milo. water games was next. we had to form the shortest and longest line. the game was like this : we had to pick a card. lets say i pick the card which had the word "nose". then the next person also have to pick a card. lets say it is finger. so the finger had to put on the nose. it is quite a fun game. :) our group won the shortest line but lost the longest one.
another game was that we had to pick up green beans from the ground and fill up a bottle. we must have 57 beans or less or else we will lose. the filling up of bottle is just a bonus. in the end, we won. both groups had 57 beans. but we filled 3 bottles. yeah.
another one was encyclopedia. the station master will have to say the number of people needed for each round. then she will say " chemistry, applied physics, book cover, mathematics... ... " so we had to arrange ourselves according to the order she said. then stack up according to the order. our group were losing because we didn't really get it right. so our group lost for this game.
tug-of-war too. this game was quite biased because we were playing on a slope. our group were at the top of the slope and the other group were at the lower end. so we lost the 3 rounds of the game. haiz.
we also had fright night on that day. quite scary la. when we were waiting, scary movies were screened. "shutter" and "the unborn" . quite nice movies. but i didn't watch the whole shows because i was too tired. for the fright night, we had to pair up with a guy but our group was short of a guy. so i paired up with a GL. thanks to him or else i will be super frightened. very. we need to look for lightsticks that will lead us to the clues. very scary. i cried a lot too. :( a lot fo white faces and person crawling on the floor trying to catch our legs. thinking of it now, it was not as scary afterall because they were people and we were the last group to 'play' this game so the 'ghosts' were tired too. well... not sure why i cried la. we got the clues quite easily too. after the fright night, we went back to the campsite. slept at around the same time. 3am plus, going to 4am.

3rd day :
woke up at 7.30am. it is AMAZING RACE day. i quite look forward to this game because i think its quite fun and nice because i get to go around singapore and play games. AMK hub, Serangoon, Tampines, Bedok, Iluma, Fort Canning Park, SCAPE, Botanic Gardens, Sunset Way, Chinese Garden, NTU. we had to run a lot, i think around 5km. super tired. we get to eat ice-cream at the DAILY SCOOP too. haha. but it was chilli chocolate. when u eat the first scoop, it is very cold because it is ice-cream, of course. haha. then the chilli taste come out. super hot. played matching games ( like matching the pictures to the shops ), it is not easy because tampines have 3 shopping centres and only 2 people are allowed to play the game. we took the longest time. around 1 hr plus. then running around the field to get letters to form words, counting the number of clocks in a shop in iluma (quite tricky and tough because some of the clocks are small and hidden), running up the pagoda at chinese garden to take photos and answer questions about chinese garden, running around fort canning park (very tiring because need to climb stairs)... went back campsite at around 10 plus... i thought that we could finally get a nice sleep after 2 days of 3 hrs sleep. but i was wrong. they played this cross-dressing game whereby the guy had to make-up and dress like a girl. our group was given "sakura". Menghui dressed up like her! haha. very funny. my sis was the MC to introduce him. quite fun. he won Miss Sexuality. not bad ah. after that, we had a bath then slept around the same time. 3am plus. AGAIN.

4th day :
woke up at the same time and packed our stuff to bring to sentosa. yeah! nice. we had beach games after un-packing our stuff. the chalet room was very small. put all our bags and we had very little space to even stand around. then it was beach games. the first game was we had to pair up with a guy then run to the end of the rope to do jumping jacks. 5 of it. then turn around 10 times. very giddy after that la. built sandcastles after that. have to throw a dice and eat the food shown. then tie our ankles together and walk to the end carrying a spoon with a pin point ball.
another game was muah chee... we had to lie down on the sand then the first person had to row down to the end of the line. the GLs will be spraying water and detergent... i didn't play this game. hmm.
the next game was captain's ball. quite fun but the catch is that the ball can be anything. slippers, pin point ball, beach ball... the first 8 ppl had 5 goals while the next 8ppl had no goals at all. haha. but we still won. because the other group had 0 goals total! LOL. :)
and it was frisby. i got hurt on my nose and it bled. very painful. and i cried of course. sad leh. really very painful. and it is still painful now. i think if it still hurts the next few days, i better go see a doctor to see if it is a fracture or something. haiz. but it is only a game. people will get injuried. then kaiyuan went to buy ice-cream for everyone because he told me that he was very very guilty that he hit me. haha. i didn't really blame him la, just that it is painful only. then i think 3 of the rest bought a slipper for me because mine spolit on the 2nd day of the camp. :) thanks!
then cheering competition! naruto got second! haiz. i think its because we didn't cheer clearly. well... naruto still rocks! :)
and we went to wash-up after that. then it was SP night. i was not really looking forward to it because it feels quite weird and if the SP is ... then it would be quite strange. so the girls went up to the chalet room to wait with the GLs. and the guys went to pick up the girls. fun sia. my sis got hers first. quite zai la. not bad. then the other girls got theirs too. geraldine's one was not bad too. out of all the girls, both of them had the best. mine was quite okay. we got some similiar topics and there were only a few awkard moments. not bad. he was quite a gentlemen. took drinks and food for me. went to the fort canning. the gallery. the food is not very nice. come from the same catering... yucky. then we had some games and watched a video too. the video is not very organised, stop and start over again. so it was quite sian. somemore i had to turn my head to watch the games and video. very tiring. argh. the SP night ended very suddenly. the MC was like saying " okay. this is the end og SP night. " lol. weird. then we exchanged gifts. i didn't wrap mine and i was like very paiseh. haha. exchanged email address and took one photo.
then went back to the chalet. we celebrated weijie's 21st birthday. wah. nice nice. the cake was delicious too. mango cake from secret recipe! :)
had a heart to heart talk after that. talked about our SP, what guys want in girls and what girls want in guys... slept at about 4am plus because was very tired... wanted to like go to the beach to walk walk actually, but most of us were tired already. i slept till around 8am. they wanted to order mcdelivery but they didn't deliver to sentosa. so we packed our bags and went to the pavilion. had prize presentation. we won the most spontaneous grouP!!! and we did a cheer! yeah! the rest of the OGs didn't cheer even though one of them won the cheering competition. haiz. we should have won la. well. they planned it such that all the OG won at least 1 prize. nice nice. the overall winner is simpsons i think.
took photos too!!! then we took the beach tram back. nice. long time didn't take that already. haha.
went mac for lunch. seaweed shaker fries! yeah! :)
then went home and slept.

nice camp!!! nice people!!! yeah! hope university life will be fun! :)

went for bbq at xf's place after that. reached quite early. most of the people haven't reach yet. so we prepared some of the food, start fire... starting bbq-ing. very fun to bbq! haha. met up with some of the guys whom i had never seen for quite a long time. like zhenghui, zhenye, eechow, kyson... nice gathering. we celebrated zhenye and eechow birthday as well... played bridge too! :)

got my timetable too. hmm. no school on monday. then earliest start at 0930 and latest 1630. quite okay i think. 4 day study week. :)

went out with my sis just now... bugis. not bad. we bought quite a number of things for our camp next week.
it is a 5D4N camp... wah. thinking of it just make me sian of going to the camp. hopefully it will be fun! spent a lot on this camp too.

about 2 more weeks left. must really enjoy!!! but next week is gone just like that! so 1 more week...

and have to plan for my driving too.

class gathering yesterday... met up with louisa and zy and wilbert first at jp. then chat a bit, eat, and shop... zach came after that.
then we went bukit timah there to meet up with the rest of the people. wanted to eat ice-cream but the shop closes quite early. so we went other places.
played some games and eat ice-cream... not bad la... quite funny.

then another day of work just now!!! super super super sian... i only sold 3 cards. in 6 hours. wonderful... and there was one uncle talk to me for the last hour. like his experiences and words of wisdom. some of them are really true. his life is really very fulfilling. at his age, 80+, he is still learning. nice... but i am quite sorry that at some time, i was like yawning away because i was too tired and sian after doing 5 hours of work (eh, not really work. staring into space)... not bad. and he was saying that if i go work there again, he will tell me all his stories... wah. its quite nice to listen to such stories once in a while... really words of wisdom, life experiences. people must be kind,grateful...

then went jp to have dinner with xy, hy, jl... only 4 of us can make it. ate at din tai fung. not bad. haha... but it was quite expensive la. i was quite shocked at the price la. wah... but its okay once in a while, i suppose. there will be many next times!!!

just came back from work... first day at this new job. singtel de.
i was nearly late because i can't find the place... but still early by a few minutes.
the boss was quite okay... he helped me set up the booth then teach me some stuff. heng ah. i forgotten some of the things already. then i just sit there, looking around... time passed quite fast, i should say...
some ppl came and ask some questions... then i tried my best to answer them. luckily, another shopowner helped to explain some stuff.
but most of the time the shopowner don't really care about me. then i just sat there. didn't walk around much. really just sat there for 6 hours. only went toilet once. super super sian la. fortunately, got sell some cards.
i don't know how to go through another 6 hours on wed... help!!! argh.

anyway, watched harry potter and the half-blood prince last friday with shiting and fenglan... it was an impromtu decision. haha. hmm. i would say that it is not very exciting... i want to borrow the last book from someone so that i will know what exactly is happening!!! haha.

went for medical check-up on tuesday morning... it was okay. don't want to comment on other things...
well. then my bro took my sis and i around the school... got to know the surroundings better.
then we went home...
i slept for one hour before going to meet xy,hy,yl at dover mrt.
then we chatted on our way to pasir ris...some jokes from yl. haha.
we went check in. then rest for a while before going out to explore... went e-hub! wah...everything is so different now. got ntuc somemore... we went to find a place to have our dinner... at this BBQ place. i forgotten the name already... hmm. i think it was okay la, maybe because i am still sick so can't taste much.
then shirley and yq came to join us. after that, we went back to the chalet. cuz shirley had to leave early. but it was actually to celebrate xy and my birthday...haha.
then we went ntuc to buy some drinks and snacks. sent shirley off too.
went back to the chalet, watch tv, play some cards, drinks... too bad i had my medicine, so i can't drink, but it is a blessing in disguise. yl and jl drank too much and they vomit. a lot. scary...
haha... and i got my birthday present. crumpler bag!!! YEAH! thanks a lot!!! :)

A bad start for the journey...

firstly, i clutch in, then make sure gear is at neutral but i put to 1st gear (not sure why, maybe because its the practice), then i accidentally release clutch and it stalled. i quickly turn on the engine again, hoping the tester didn't realise...

then went to do s course... it was okay, just that i think i am quite near the right kerb... luckily didn't strike kerb. then vertical parking. okay, but minus 2 points from there due to not parking inwards. crank course... okay. slope. DIRECTIONAL CHANGE. didn't go in properly and i was too near to the right. so when i reverse, i straight away turn steering wheel and 10 points down. strike kerb. then i move forward again. i didn't realise my mistake and did the same thing again. another 10 points. GG. don't really know how to do corrections... haiz... then parallel parking.
out on the road. okay except for some mistakes like veer off course, incorrect positioning...
then back...
a failure is a failure... what to do? learn from mistakes!!!
come on, i will pass the second time round!!!

the only thing is that the next test will clash with my university studies... hope there will be one on the 27th aug around 11. its the earliest date where i know i can make it, of now.

went out with my sis ytd to jp and town... not a bad trip. bought some shorts and blouses...
went to look at crumpler bags... wah. i found something i like... but the cost is much higher than normal ones... hmm. well... but its nice. :)
went to look at some watches too... very nice but the price even nicer...
shoe... will go queensway one day to buy my converse shoe...
wah...so many things to be bought for university...

anyway, went for driving yesterday and just now... i did a lot of mistakes during yesterday's lesson... mount kerb, continue on amber light and blinking green arrow... but today was better... no major mistakes. when i was waiting for my lesson to start, i saw many test cars in the circuit... then i became very nervous... thinking of thurs, the coming test. you will also hope that they will pass and not do any mistakes... very frightening...

less than 2 more days...

today's driving is fun! yeah... i learnt more things during the lesson... hmm. hope it will be like this for next thurs.
after driving, went to meet daddy, brother and sister for lunch... then went to buy 4D and durians... haha. didn't eat durians for about 1 month plus already. the durians were okay la. it was enough. shouldn't eat too many durians at a time or else you will be eating for the sake of eating.

well... 6 more days...

anyway, my family sent my brother to the airport on wed night. he is going to zurich for his studies... 1 year. good luck to him!!! :)

went to book our chalet 14-15th july on thursday... met up with xinyi at bukit gombak station... $75 for 2D1N stay. hmm. well, its a get-together. :) yeah...after that, we went to jp to walk walk and see some presents... finally bought something after walking for quite some time... nice one.

had an appointment with xf on friday morning... then she went to have her lunch... we chatted a lot cuz didn't see each other for quite some time already... she accompanied me till abt 1.10pm because the jp bus will be reaching at around 1.15pm... thanks! :) so, after cck, i went jp to meet caroline to have lunch with her... swensens... super full. but it was quite nice. chatted quite a bit too... intended to watch transformers but no seats at all... hmm. is it really so nice? haha. so we walked for a while then i took the 4.30pm bus home...

well...watched hotshot and i felt it was quite a nice drama... comical and there is a storyline. not bad la... i finished watching today... the ending is quite abrupt only.
watched transformers 1 on friday night with my sis... very action-packed. nice movie. although i can't really hear clearly what they are talking about. haha.

then i went out with tk,albert yesterday... ate sakae sushi but not the buffet one. it was more expensive than the buffet and i didn't really eat a lot because i scared it would be too ex... well. i think buffet will be more worth... hmm. we also wanted to watch transformers at causeway point. but when we reached there, there were not much seats left too. so, we ate crystal jade for dinner... my noodle was not nice at all...sian. not sure why, but i ordered this noodle with ingredient A. and we ordered another dish A. but my ingredient was not nice while dish A was nice... hmm...maybe my taste bud is spoilt... strange...
after dinner, we walked about then went home... thanks. :)

and i heard that my medical check-up can be done on any days before school starts...so i need not go on the 14th which will clash with my chalet... yeah... will see how first bah.
but i have to get some things done too...

3. medical check-up
4. pack room
5. shopping!!!

it is tough to get things going... but i will do my best...

took my SGC yesterday... then went to meet PRB at clementi.
since there is a straight bus to clementi, i thought that i should go there straight. to save some $ too. but i reached there at about 5.25pm when our meeting time is 6.30pm... wah...quite sian. luckily, xinyi reached early too. we walked around city vibe then went to the coffeeshop and sit down to chat...
everybody reached at about 7.15pm. then we ordered and the food only come at about 7.45pm. wah...hungry. we ate and chat... confirmed our chalet on 14-15th july too. yeah. finally can overnight mahjong all those. hope i can pass my driving test and rent a car!!! :) it will be so nice...

just had my stage 5.01!
at first, we just did the warm-up... went for test route 2.
it went quite well i suppose. at one time, i was in between 2 test cars. felt so scared at that moment. then the car in front of me went the same test route as me. so we followed the car. then back into the circuit, the car made a mistake such that the tester had to pull the handbrake for him (that's what my instructor saw). he parked at the wrong place and so he moved out, but my car was just behind him trying to pass him, so the tester had to pull the handbrake to prevent hitting my car. wah. i thought it was my fault la. scary. but my instructor say the trainee didn't check blind spot and moved out just like that. before that, when we were following this car, my instructor already know that the trainee will fail because the tester was holding the hand grip in the car. my instructor told me it's because the tester felt unsafe... wah. so scary...

then we went to do warm-up in the circuit... it was okay till the one of the parking. i think it's the parallel one. 40 + area. when i was coming out, my instructor asked me to turn left. so i turned then MOUNT KERB. so sian. turned too early. haiz. but my instructor say nvm, later won't mount kerb already. haha.

so it was the time. we went outside for test route 2 again. one instructor standing near the number 51 told me to move into the queue when there were no space. so i just moved but my instructor said we would be blocking other cars so next time must ask the instructor if can move anot. hmm. okay. then route 2. quite okay la. not a lot of cars so lane change and u-turn was fine. then at the bukit gombak station, i was behind one bus and the bus stopped at a bus-stop. the traffic light was just behind the bus-stop. so i stopped before the traffic light. i thought i can't overtake near the traffic light or something so i just stopped. then my instructor looked at me. some pedestrains were also unsure. wah. then finally, i moved off. quite paiseh. but funny too. haha. at least now i know in some circumstances, we can do other things. hmm. my speed was too slow sometimes and didn't change appropriate gear when turning. i used gear 3 to turn. wah. cuz i thought faster turn before the bus come. well... next time better to change gear 2 before turning.
then come back to sch. circuit. parallel parking was the worst la. i strike kerb because i am not sure of the sighting points. turn too late. the car was too inside the lot. sian. i thought it was 10 points gone but only 4. really felt quite sian la. so re-do the parking. then vertical parking was fine, s-course,crank course, directional change too...
but i didn't know that need check blind spots before doing s-course and crank course. haha. so failure to check blind spots. but NOW i know! it's still not too late! jiayou!
in all, i got 20 points. but my instructor say not enough side clearance (to bicycle) put under KIV, so minus off 8 points, i got 12 points in the end. passed.
hmm. i did saw a bicycle but can't remember where it was. well. must improve. :)
wah...really quite nervous when doing. but i felt quite strange. don't know why... maybe because i only got one instructor then never really experience other instructors' teachings. hmm.
well. about 2 more weeks to 9th july. must really buck up. :)

went to meet up with zy and others yesterday...
we ate at xin wang hongkong cafe... cineleisure. the food was okay. just that i was wondering why the songs played are not cantonese... haha. nvm. i just want to listen to new cantonese songs. :)
then we went for a gathering with other people... okay la. more confidence.
just that i don't know whether to ask. anyway, hope everything goes well.
after that, went to catch the movie " i love u,man" . it was very funny... nice movie.
then ate at a restaurant G7. the food there was not bad. can go there again. service also not bad.

yeah... so i hope to find a 2-weeks job or something shorter now. trying my luck.

today is my LAST day at work!
i only know the news yesterday... so short a notice.
when i alighted from the transport, i saw my third boss carrying a cake and someone asked her "u buy de ah? " she said " no la, the second boss buy de. " her tone was like wanting to tell me that she wouldn't spent to buy a cake for me. wah lau.
well. today my second boss treated us cake. also a farewell party. its not really a party, just an eating session. chocolate cake, but its not very nice. very heaty and a lot of cream. nvm. i was quite touched by her. i didn't thought that she would buy a cake... yeah. she also gave me a good luck red packet. was shocked by the amount inside. thanks!
after that, i continued to do my work, matching of invoices. quite sick of doing that all day, so slack a bit here and there. then, my friend said to meet me for lunch as it was my last day. so we met at the guardhouse outside my company and went to the canteen opposite to eat... quite nice of my friend to come meet me. :) treated my friend... the cab fare must be quite expensive. tuas area. usually i take from tuas to my house, it will be already $10. chatted... nice lunch. :)
my last day was quite nice. no stress when doing work and slacked a bit when i was tired and sick of doing work. haha.
but my third boss was very sarcastic. she asked me to give the cake to my first boss and tell him that it's my last day today. so i gave and he said some encouraging words and good luck for my university... i can come back to see them and maybe work as a temp during my holidays... thanks for ur hard work these past months... quite nice of him although i didn't really talked to him for my 6 months here. then my third boss asked me what he said to me. i replied " he said good luck for my university all those la... " and she said "aiya, always say good things de la. " i said " got bad things meh? " she said " ha ha, no la. always say those typical things. "
wah. i was like ... =.= at least i can feel the sincerity from my first boss. and at least he bothered to say good luck to me! what about you? don't even say anything...
my second boss also said " good luck for ur future endeavours! " she was so happy seeing me everytime she walked past me... always put on a smile when she saw me.
my first boss also said some nice words to me when i said bye to him... so nice of him.
then when we were going home in the bus, my third boss said to me " oh. the second boss told me that i didn't say anything to you or bye bye to you on your last day... so bye bye! " (something like that. didn't say anything about wishing me good luck... ) EVEN other people can see that my third boss don't even care... what a fool.
can't you even say some nice words to someone that you may not be seeing anytime soon?

well. i don't want to think about her. she don't trust me at all. there was one time when i was playing with the pen and using the pen to make away some dust. she saw me and asked if i am trying to forge another person's signature!!! what the... i can't believe she said that la. use your brain la. FOOLS.
her words also carry some sarcastic and hurtful remarks. hidden ones at that.
argh. stop thinking about her.

another colleague of mine also don't really care if today's my last day. was very relunctant when she gave me the cheque. like last day last day lor. to think i still helped her to finished as much matching as i could do. and i helped her to spot the mistakes in one invoice. she said she checked the first 50 plus pages and asked me to continue to the end, around 160 plus pages. and i found the mistakes in the first 50 plus pages. really waste my time and eye power. have to check every single number. and she said till it's like my fault. yes, i did talk to her when she was doing this. she took it for granted that i would be free to help her check and i SHOULD help her check. haiz... don't know i should be angry or sad.

anyway, i missed working in this company to a certain extent. some colleagues were really nice. one of them made me an angel and an ear-ring. MADE them. sincere. nice one. can see 2 of them also will miss me la. haha. what's more i had worked in this company for 6 months. if i worked on monday, it would be complete 6 months. got some feelings. i had learnt a lot of things from working too. human relationships, the manner of working, teamwork, trust in people... ... many many more.

but the world is much more than that. more to see. this is only ONE company. more to come.

well. nice though, to work with people a lot older than me, to listen to their advice... i will defintiely miss working there.

but somehow, i felt relieved at about 5.20pm today... i don't need to work and can finally rest after 6 months of hard work. relaxed. the only thing is the $. shall see what i can do before deciding my next step. :)

yeah... yesterday went to meet for a gathering at jp. ate fish n co. was quite full because drank starbucks before dinner. very nice. thanks for treating! i will treat you back! :) watched BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE after dinner. it was super bloody but the movie is interesting and quite nice. although some scenes were not needed and some were too short. it was quite rushed at the ending... okay movie... worth the student price but not more. thanks for treating again! same, i will treat you back one fine day. took cab home, and thanks again for the cab home! :)

tomorrow meeting again for some important stuff.

driving just now!!!
stage 4.04! went for test routes 5 and 10. had to do u-turn... luckily, there were no cars... wah. imagine on my test day, there were so many cars that i can't change lane then it will be doom for me... really hope i will be lucky that day. or else another $160.
did some mistakes too, like turn into the wrong lane... well. at least i still have time to learn my mistakes...
heard some advice from others that directional change must look behind for safety check ( 4 points just gone like that ) , must catch the biting point during the warm-up period ( stall 2 times and YMCA )... some more but i have forgotten.
about 26 more days to 9th july!

after driving, went to meet zhenying and others... free ride. haha. thanks! next time i will be the one who fetch them here and there. :)
listen to something and then went jp for dinner. went din tai fung. the xiao long bao is very nice. then went walk walk around jp. talked about laptops and the PC show that is going on now... heard that there are very good offers. better to buy now than during uni. plus, freebies!
maybe, i will go take a look tomorrow. didn't go such shows before... can see the crowd too.

went out to meet zhenying and friends for a meeting yesterday...
it was quite fun. getting to know more people!!! and getting free treats from the 'boss'!
haha. we went swensens to have our dinner, chatted a lot too. and i had known 3 new friends. :)
ate ice-cream only because zy and i ate mcdonalds before swensens already... nice nice.
talked about some serious stuff too... and i hope it will really work.
a few more months to go...

well. today, after i had my lunch, my colleague asked me in front of my boss, " xiao mei, when is ur last day of work? " i smiled and then my boss said " anytime, 24hours. " i was like, what the... just give people 24 hours notice? imagine u go to work one day and the boss said that today is ur last day of work... what a joke. =.=
my colleague also purposely said " xiao mei, i want to treat u on ur last day of work because i always ask u to do things for me. person A ( the boss) should treat u too! " haha. we were laughing there at the same time too.
well... i don't think my boss will treat me anything. NONE at all! a person that is so stingy... i really can't stand such people.

well, yesterday went to celebrate sharon's birthday!!! HOSHI at IMM!
it was a buffet... just nice. all of us were hungry.
so we ordered and ate and chatted...
quite fun just ordering. as if we don't need to pay like that. haha. i ate salmon, octopus, sashimi, ebi fry... they were all very nice. :) especially the salmon.
i also ate 5 scoops of green tea ice-cream. the green tea ice-cream was super nice la! i wanted to eat more, but my stomach can't take it anymore.
so i think i eat more than the cost bah. yeah.
it cost $33.90 per person...
quite okay. but i think kushinbo will be better. like u can just take the food and eat it straight away. at hoshi, u have to order and then have to wait for them to serve. SUPER LONG WAIT! quite frustrated over the long wait. and they forget our orders sometimes. well. maybe there were too many people...
anyway, i prefer kushinbo because there are crabs, lobsters, free nice food every hour or so... the ice-cream were also nicer. more creamy. nice nice. but buffet is really not very good. force ourselves to eat and it is not good for the stomach.

actually, can stay for OT today... but i did all the work fast during the normal working hours and there were nothing much to do if i stayed back. haiz. but i can really stay back to help the smaller company to do matching and keying in. well, nvm. i think i won't have the chance to stay for OT and eat free food anymore... next week will be my last week there. i am not sure if i am going to find another job, a one month's job. can i even find? ha.

yeah! driving was quite different today...
i had a different instructor, not sure where did my instructor go.
car 28.
at first, when i got the allocation slip, i was quite angry that i got a different instructor... partly because i am also not sure if this instructor is good. hmm. but it is a blessing in disguise.
i went to take a look at this instructor's face at the board... haha. okay la. don't really look very noob.
he speaks chinese throughout the lesson... but for some instructions like turn left, right, he spoke english... better to speak english when giving instructions. because i need to think what is 'zuo' and 'you' before i know what is left and right. lol... quite sad right...
so, he taught me what are the turning points for parallel parking clearly, like must see the whole pole before turning. then the corrective actions after that. my instructor did told me, but not as clear.
he asked me a lot of questions too... like what u doing now? (driving, lor) lol. but, of course i didn't said that. which school u come from? how's your results? how's your work?
quite fun chatting with him la. he seems to know a lot about education system, the schools too.
he also gave me some advice on driving and other stuff... not bad.
but... he went to the toilet halfway through the lesson, this is the first time i experienced such stuff. he also kept yawning and BURPping during the lesson. i was like "eh?"
the best thing is, i did not hit any kerbs, poles, or stall in this lesson... haha. i think it was quite a nice lesson. no major mistakes... if i can drive like how i drove this lesson, i think i will pass!!! :)
wah. don't be over-confident.
but i really hope i can drive like this... hehe. :)
this lesson is nice, and i hope if my instructor didn't come, i would get instructors like this instructor!
i felt so bad... haha.

quite strange, because i had 3 more test routes to go but only one stage 4 left. can complete 3 test routes in one lesson?

i think is because during my auto lesson, the instructor only let me on 1 test route...
aiya, let the instructor think la.

anyway, my auto lesson last week was also fun! no changing of gears, left leg can rest and just accelerate and brake! nice... but my right leg becomes tired. maybe due to the low speed control... :)
i think the most tough part is to go over the kerb and stop before the pole. once u hit the pole, its bye-bye for you. and when u stop on the slope, there is no need to pull the handbrake. the car won't roll down. that is quite amazing. unlike manual cars, they will surely roll down if the handbrake is not applied. but the instructor says those learning auto have to pull the handbrake, its a requirement.
learnt quite a number of things for the auto lesson...

fun! i must enjoy my driving till the practical test... haha.

this week passed in a flash. its already saturday! 6th june.
just about 2 more months of holiday and the real thing begins!
just went for campus tour... it is quite great. get to know more people although only around 10 went. some will be doing double degree courses, business & accoutancy (superb), and other nice stuff... :) although i don't see anyone from my course, i hope to get to know more seniors and classmates... the business people and people from my course will eat at the same canteen (usually), so i hope to see friends from the business side... won't be so bored...
its quite fun... excited...
but when the real thing starts, i also hope it will be fun too.

the only regret is well...
nvm. no more regrets!!! i will like the school and my course, definitely!

anyway, work is the same... hope i will get to stay OT one of the days next week! didn't eat fastfood for long time... maybe sakae sushi? haha. dream on!!!

finally, i passed 3 stages!!!
3.08, 3.09 and 3.10! yeah. actually yesterday's lesson can pass 3.08 already, but the instructor revise the stage 3 stuff... it is also good, in a way... so that i cna pass 3.10 easily. haha... not bad.
so next lesson will be on 4.01, 2 test routes? hmm... hopefully i will remember to do those things like signal, check blind spots...
i am not sure if i can go for the auto-car lesson like after stage 4 or something. because i want to go for the non-peak one when i am out of job... must remember to ask my instructor next lesson...

another thing...
i am not sure if i want to do this, or should i do that? fast or slow? hurtful or not so hurtful?
i have already sort of made my decision already... i just need some more advice. give me strength.

welcome tea session was not bad yesterday...
i reached there at about 2.30pm, 30 minutes before the session starts...
at first, i thought i had missed the bus-stop and the next bus-stop was very very far... wah. in my mind, i thought i was wrong and thought of some other things...
then, fortunately, i alighted at the right bus-stop! haha. was quite happy because i don't need to walk back and...
well, so i went inside. i went to this tea session alone... i don't know what to do there... so walk around and then sat down.
there was a talk at 3pm, introducing the orientation camp, professors, and some burning questions about the course. hmm. this course is very tough. very tough. i am not sure if i can survive it.
can i make it through the 4 years? can i?
after the talk, we had a snacks session... i went to get some food and ate alone... sian. i don't see any familiar faces at alL!!! argh... then when i was eating, my neighbour, kaixian saw me... yeah. i finally saw someone who is familiar...
after that, we chatted... i find her quite friendly and nice... i also found out that she had accepted the course... hmm. then we had the lab tour... the lab is quite far away. the professor introduced to us the different lab instruments and equipment, talked about the different processes... not bad, i think. or should i say, i was listening to him so i think it is not bad. because the previous tea session, perhaps i was too tired and shut my ears, so i think that the other course was quite ... hmm.

now, i had to make a decision fast... 1st june is coming soon.
both courses are fine. just that i think one course has a better future and the other is more fun... argh... how to make the decision...
i think i will have a less stressful life at one U, and a more stressful life at another...
how...
a direct bus? or walk to mrt, then take to boon lay or pioneer and another bus there?

well. after that tea session, i went to JP to catch a movie with pearl and yanqiu! long time no see... i went home to get something for pearl and it was quite rushed, having to run from home to JE, in the hot weather and carrying 2 books... wah. tiring. but i still reached there at around 6.05 i think... just late for 5 mins... hehe.
angels & demons. it was quite a complicated movie... you have to be awake to know what is happening... the plot is nice. the script is also nice. some scenes were funny. actually, till now, i still can't figure out where is that bad guy... haha. maybe i will read the book one day and see if i can find the answer.

driving today again. hope i clear 2 more stages. 3.06 and 3.07.
3.06 should be fine, i think. hope 30mins will be enough. 3.07 is the tough one. vertical parking...
i hit 2 poles down during the parallel parking... argh. but it was okay. i was wondering, if there were no poles, how do we park? that must come with experience.
anyway, vertical parking... i must complete these 2 stages today... hmm... actually 3.08 is also quite okay. but don't be greedy... 2 stages is enough.

had the driving stimulator lesson just now... it was quite fun. the instructor was funny and he taught us some mistakes made by others...
we did emergency brake, 2-second rule and driving in the stimulator.
after this, i went for my driving lesson. the timing was just right...nice nice.
yeah. was happy that i completed 2 stages. directional change and parallel parking. revised on the s-course and crank course during the lesson too. actually i think can do driving on slope also, but the instructor said revise the s and crank course... well, at least i cleared 2 stages. the minimum i must clear so that i can complete in time... and have enough practice before the true test.

during the lesson, i saw many people going for their practical test. one of them MOUNT KERB. wah. felt very sad for the person... really. imagine it was me. time and $ was gone. the instructor somemore get out of the car and showed the person that he had mount the kerb. wah. the feeling is like being stabbed by a knife. ouch.

hopefully, i can do better and clear more stages soon!!! :)

later, i am going for the NUS welcome tea session... hmm. hope i can get more information about the course and make my decision soon!!!

driving was bad today...only passed 3 stages in 2 lessons while other people can pass these 3 stages in one lesson. quite disappointed.
made quite a number of mistakes... like mount kerb, reverse too fast, did not change lanes properly...
haiz... wondering if i can pass my practical test if it is the same situation as today...
yes, i have booked my practical test and its on 9th july, thursday...
looks like all my tests are on thursday... BTT, FTT and now practical test... hopefully my practical test will go on smoothly as BTT and FTT. :)

this colleague of mine had only worked in the company for close to 2 months, her probation was not even over. and the company terminate her just like that, willing to pay a week's salary... well. i felt sad because she was very friendly and funny, sociable and fun. everyone, except her boss and the other bosses in the company, like her. very nice person... she always makes us laugh. tell jokes. so, on the day she left ( friday ), almost everyone went lunch with her at swensens jp, even people from other departments joined. and we had lunch till 2pm, then we went back to the office. lunch was great, 1-for-1 lunch at swensens. we chatted, and i learnt more about HR (2 of them was from HR, and 1 of them told us)... understand why the company would make such a decision. hmm. both parties were wrong, i would say. my colleague really makes some mistakes that were terrible, such as keying into the wrong account, wrong coding, and somehow she didn't really realise she did something wrong. i am not trying to say something bad behind other people's backs... i wanted to tell her that actually both parties were wrong, but it would be such a spoilsport. it is like everybody thinks you were right and suddenly someone says you were wrong actually. on the other hand, the company was wrong. the company didn't inform her that that day was her last day till the day itself. i think it is a very short notice. she can't make any preparations. as in packing her stuff, giving her work back to her 'boss'... well. both were definitely wrong.
if they hired another person to do the same amount of work this colleague of mine had to do, the person would surely suffer! no rest for the whole month. this amount of work needs at least 2 people, one bad thing is that her 'boss' pushes everything to her and her 'boss' only did some minor stuff. even i, as a very low-ranking staff in the company was angry about it. as i had said before, the bosses wanted to see how she can cope and don't allow any temp staff or other people to help. in the end? we, the temp staff had to stay OT and finish the work like mad. coming back on public holidays and weekends.
no other people can do this job SINGLE-HANDLEDLY.
well, if this is their mentality, let it be.
i will only be in this company for a certain period only. if this carries on, i am not sure what will happen. anyway, an opinion of a low-ranking TEMP staff will not be much help to them.
but what i want to say is that, because recently the HR people said that the headcount of accounts department is very high, much more than other departments. the company had just been divided into smaller companies. and HR said the headcount increases. volume of work remains almost the same but why headcount increases?
i am not very sure why, but i only know that if they cannot finish the work, they had to hire people. likewise, a temp staff is hired to help finish the work and the person is not here for fun. the company hires not to waste money or what, so there is really a need when the company hires. and if the HR people are not satisfied or whatever, please come and do the work before saying anything. JUST DOING AP WILL TAKE UP ABOUT 1 WEEK. after that, it will be payment and whatever. so think first.
well... so that day, we went back at around 2.15pm. super nice. of course, the bosses are quite angry about it but they didn't do any actions. haha. around 5 against 2 ?
the same tragedy will happen... soon. very soon.

anyway, good luck to this colleague of mine. she will have a better time elsewhere although my company is not bad. jiayou! :)

i had OT on that day... clearing some stuff left behind and some problematic invoices. and i will have to stay OT next week too. the person ( who is my colleague's 'boss' ) told me that she will let me stay more so that i can earn more before i leave. i was quite shocked when i heard it. what a change! well. but staying OT is tiring. working for more that 12 hours... sian... the only force that is pushing me is the $ and free dinner and transport home... it all links to $. i am wondering if i have become a person who is very stingy... whatever i think all leads to $. is $ really that important?
well, dinner was sakae sushi AGAIN that day... swensens lunch was too full, so i only ate sakae salad and one salmon something... the salad is very nice! i regret not ordering more, because it may be the last time i will be eating sakae sushi for free... hmm. can't eat too much.

well... went to welcome tea session at NTU just now... it was okay. the morning food was nice. chocolate eclair... then we listened to the talks by the professors there, i was quite excited at first... but when we went to walk around the lab, somehow i was not tempted or attracted. the facilities were superb, perhaps i was tired or i was really not into this course? i began to worry. i used to like this course a lot, but now? what happened?
i really hope to get into a course i like. one thing is that i won't have to suffer for 3-4 years. and i really don't want to stress myself. i am afraid i can't cope with it. really scary.

everything will be fine.
it will only get better.

OT today! 8 hours i think... if including lunch hour. double pay. wonderful. that's my 2 days' pay... yeah! at least can cover for my leave and labour day holiday...

maybe monday which is my company's scheduled holiday, i have to go work again... 1.5 times? hehe. but maybe only work 3 hours... see how first. :)

yesterday, i accidentally spoil the computer and was so afraid... but in the end, it is just that the wire came loose.
then, today i thought i had misplaced some important invoices and tried finding in vain. but in the end, my boss forgot that we sent to another department for signature... argh. really give me a scare.
i am afraid that there will be more coming tomorrow and in the next few days...

PASSED FTT!!! :)

went for practice in the morning... 8am. met up with xinyi and we went for practices together. was extremely tired. can't really open my eyes. argh. but it is good that i had 2 practices before my ftt. i can do all the 11 booklets and redo some of them. memorise all the answers. but some of the questions in the ftt was totally different. wah. really give me a scare. well, at least i can now continue with my plans and hopefully, book my practical test before my birthday...

the machine to print out the result was spoilt, so we can't book our practical test today. we can only book tomorrow. argh. one day is a lot of difference. and the worst thing is i can only book when i comes home after work tomorrow. not sure whether it will have any difference...

went home after ftt and slept for 1 1/2 hour before my practical lesson at 1410. had lunch at mcdonalds... actually wanted to save money and skip lunch or have something cheaper and lighter like old chang kee or subway cookies. but too heaty and didn't ate fastfood for quite a while. hmm. not bad.

anyway, driving was fun just now. didn't see my instructor for around 12 days and he looks very tired... keep yawning when i was driving. was a bit irritated la, seriously. he still cracks some jokes la. haha. i cleared driving on slopes and road hazards today. 2 stages. yeah. and i think i was more confident too. :) but somehow, my braking is still not very good. i tried to brake gently, but maybe the brakes in this car is different from the other cars. sian. braking is still very jerky and sudden. but the accelerator is easier to control now. hmm. have i improved? haha.
yearning for the next lesson... :)

had OT yesterday. actually i thought didn't have chance to stay back due to some reasons. =.= but luckily, the person who wanted me to stay told the superior and i stayed back! :) was irritated and frustrated that the boss didn't really care about whether this smaller company can close the april accounts. this smaller company still had much to do, matching, coding and keying in invoices. one whole stack of invoices, D.O, P.O... wah. thinking about it just makes me hates the boss more.
well, had sakae sushi for dinner!!! WOW! was quite excited and happy. ordered some different sushi that i never tried before! :) hehe. first time i ate sushi when i stayed back. wanted to order more but the petty cash person was afraid that it will cost a bomb and the bigger boss would be unhappy. hmm. anyway, the sushi person came at 8.15pm when we ordered at 6.15pm. 2 hours. superb. actually they wanted to cancel the order and don't give the person $ when he came. quite bad to treat the delivery person right. and it was his first day of work. haha.well, stomachs were growling, can't work and concentrate properly. but, was still happy that i got to eat sushi!!! FOC! lol. yeah. hehe. i think i won't get the chance to eat sushi FOC already... hmm. nevermind. at least i had one chance. :)
for the morning, i helped the boss to search for invoices to be sent overseas. searching is easy, but putting them all back gives me a headache. really. when the invoices are sent back, i think i would use one whole day to put back all the invoices. have to put them back where it belongs. sian. somemore, the boss suddenly say that they don't need one supplier's invoices already. one supplier that had 8 files of invoices. and i have to put them back tomorrow. SIAN. =.= somemore, the files are in the store and the store is quite spooky... one person in there... argh.

well. gossiped a bit about some people. really bad people. sian. what to do? working life is like that. had to face unreasonable people.

work tomorrow again. sick sick sick of it.

2 driving lessons just now!
my instructor had gone overseas so i had 2 different instructors for the 2 lessons.
first, i got car 60. the instructor says its a test car. the acceleration is very different, softer than the usual car. i mean easier to accelerate. the instructor point out a lot of mistakes that i make, such as braking too hard, clutch coordination (release too early, too late) . i know that i brake too hard and don't really know how to coordinate the clutch, but somehow my instructor didn't told me all these. sian. all along, i had made all these mistakes and perhaps this had already become a habit. HABITS DIE HARD. but, i learnt from my mistakes and had tried hard to correct them, like the braking. this instructor said my braking improved. haha. can feel the car slowing down smoother and not jerk. was quite happy. :) this instructor is not bad... although i feel he is a bit strange la. haha.

then, i got car 49. its a female instructor! wah. i was shocked. when i see the name on the paper, i thought its a male instructor ( or i presumed it will be a male instructor because there are very few female instructors ). she was okay too, quite zai at controlling the car (like use one hand to reverse). haha. i will be like her one day!!! not bad la. she use the first several minutes to teach me the theory of U-turns. then we went out on the road. she showed me how to U-turn first before i do. then i do some, but turn too much most of the time. sian. my low-speed control is okay la (i think,haha), but turn too much and hit the kerb on one U-turn. luckily, the car behind me is own people. we also did one round-about, but only one time, because of me... too eager or something la.

so today, i only did right turns and U-turns... hmm. i realised my previous lessons like go down the drain. didn't really know how to feel the car.

anyway, i got the letter from NUS and NTU.
welcome tea session... one 16th may, one 22th may. have to cancel my driving lessons on 16th and take leave on the 22th. hmm. don't feel very happy or what. i scared i will not be up to the mark. scared that i cannot cope with it. aww.
i will give it a second thought before accepting... :)

this week is quite a bad week, especially wednesday and thursday...
monday is okay, we had durians for lunch! haha. durians meal. i think i ate too much, so much so that even at 5.30pm, the durians had not been digested yet and i was not hungry at all. what's more is that my colleagues and i had already planned to eat buffet on that day. wah. so at first, i only drank green tea, to digest the durians... sian. eat too many already. then slowly, i ate some soft shell crabs, sushi... was quite full already. i shouldn't eat the soft shell crabs because they are fried. haiz. then ate some cold crabs, not bad. very nice. salmon too. the ice cream was wonderful. creamy, nice!!! then there were some specials every hour or so, and these were limited. it was quite fun, we had to observe the waitresses' , waiters' move to see whether the special food is coming or not, then we will rush to the counter to queue up for the food. there was twice 4 of us had this special item. lobster! super nice. i was afraid at first because i can't eat prawns-the smell of lobster is quite similar to prawns. but i don't care, fortunately. it was nice! :)
talked about office politics... some other jokes.
i really regretted eating so many durians... or else my buffet will be more worth it! definitely. aww.
anyway, the durians are also not very nice afterall. haha. but i ate a lot because i didn't eat durians for a long time. at least years.
my colleague also drove me home.haha.

on tuesday, it was okay too. nothing much happened.

wednesday is really my bad day. made too many mistakes.
colleague A asked me to do something. i did but i keyed some into the wrong account. i was super scared at first, didn't dare to tell A, at that time, colleague B came to use my computer, i decided to tell her, but B say it is nothing much, just receipt and offset the value.
so i pluck up my courage to tell A ( i was really very scared at that moment, never did i felt this way in this company), then A said " wah. this is really complicated. have to do a lot of things. you, ah. " i said " you angry? " she replied " no, just that i have a lot of things to do. " i just smiled a bit. i was guilty too. because everyone had many things to do and i made such a mistake.
so i offset the value and put into the correct account. after that, at first, A was afraid to give me things to do, haha. but because she was too busy, she decided to let me finish the task. there were home and foreign currency, i only did the singapore currency and i made the mistake already.
after that, other colleagues accused me of doing some wrong tasks. like keying into the wrong account ( i didn't do that, but maybe because i did the same mistake earlier, she thinks that this mistake is mine. ) wah. at that time, i didn't felt this way, i just smiled.
colleague C say i did not file the payment vouchers properly, as in there were 2 dividers of the same name. yes, i filed wrongly, but something she said just make me hate her. =.= she said " i don't give you your cheque ah, anyhow do things. " something like that. what the.
then this C thinks all the wrong filing is mine, everytime there were something wrong, it is always me. why can't it be the person who did this before me? i only take over this job like 2 weeks ago and i don't like it at all. the matching of invoices is tougher than the previous matching of invoices of the smaller company. then this C keep asking me to clear the problematic invoices when i don't know what they were for ( they were left by the previous person ). wonderful, right? don't understand why C choose me to do stuff for her, instead of that previous person. i helped her to key invoices fast only. i don't know anything about the problem invoices and i don't want to know. i don't know a lot of people in the other departments and C asked me to send this and that to them. problem invoices also need to ask other departments. the previous person is doing well, why can't you ask her to continue?
I REALLY PREFER TO DO THE MATCHING AND KEYING OF THE SMALLER COMPANY.

then yesterday, this C accused me of filing into the wrong divider. she asked me to find where did i file into? so i searched and searched. at first, i searched file C (the company's name starts with C), then i searched file T because i got this feeling that this company somehow changed name but i forgotten what is the new name... then C said " woah. from C to T ah. " (i can sense the sarcasm in her words). i don't care about her and continued searching. i finally managed to find it after some time, this company had changed its name and that's why i filed into file T. this C don't know about the change in company name and just accused me of filing wrongly. IT IS REALLY EASY TO PIN-POINT OTHERS.
then, my timesheet was checked and i wrote wrongly. good friday is a holiday and i wrote i worked 8 hours on that day, then my boss asked me " you worked on good friday? ha. ha." (this definitely is not said in a joking manner. i didn't said anything and just smiled a bit. i can feel that my boss also don't trust me. people err, don't you? =.=
C was the one who did the cheque and payment, so she did the cheque for me and then said to me " NA, GO, photocopy the payment vouchers " she definitely said it in a BU SHUANG way. IDIOT. so what if you are doing the cheque? in the end you still have to give me the cheque. you think by saying words like " i don't give you your cheque ah. " means i won't get my pay? please la, the most i complain to the bigger boss lor. very small things like stamping the received word and AP stamp on the wrong place such that some minor things can't be seen is also wrong. other thing have more important words so i stamp at that place. even this she had to say " i don't you give your cheque. " REALLY. I SALUTE HER.
sometimes i think C never use her brain. always only know to complain other people. like there was one incident when person D from another department didn't want to issue a PO because it is last year's PO and had to go through some stages, then C said "some small things like this also won't help us, next time D wants to issue cheque, i will do it slowly and wait for her to come down to get it, not us to bring it to her"
there was once C said " an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, if people treats me bad, i will do the same thing to them. " yes, this is right, but have you ever thought of treating them good and they will do the same thing to you? have you ever thought to make the first move and not wait for them to do it?
PLEASE, THINK OF THE THINGS OTHERS HAVE DONE FOR YOU BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM THE DEATH SENTENCE.

get back to the cheque thing again. she did the cheque for me and said " woah. this month pocket very full ah. haha. " then the next thing she said after 10 mins or so is bad thing. (the one " NA, GO, photocopy the payment vouchers in the BU SHUANG manner).
one minute C can smiled at me, the other minute she bu shuang me. WOW! what a change.

she sat with me on the bus home, then i had to talk to her, VERY RELUCTANTLY. pretend to smile and laugh when i talk to her, pretend to care about her stuff, like the issuing of PO by the other department. wah. GUESS THAT I HAVE LEARNT ALL THESE. BAD STUFF.
WHAT A HYPOCRITE AM I.
and i had to face her for lunch, on the journey home, for work. actually we were good friends and colleagues, C was the first few i got to know of in this company. i don't know why things turn out to be like that.
perhaps, i am SICK of doing the same things and did not do them properly. BUT, C SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID ALL THOSE THINGS, RIGHT?
THINK FOR OTHERS, BE IN THEIR SHOES.

all these things make me ponder over whether i should continue to stay in this company. all the idiotic things, NO TRUST, clear instructions were not given, aunties gossiping behind people's backs... ...
the only thing that make me want to stay is the pay. i want to earn more so that during university, i do not really need to think about the financial part. so i am working for the pay now. ONLY.
PATHETIC.
i want to learn new things. this company is not teaching me much. i am ALWAYS doing the same thing over and over again. SAME STUFF. really SICK of that.
but pay is my first priority. aww. i will see how first, maybe when a good job offer comes and with a good pay, i will job hop. it is tough to find a job now, so i have to just bear with it for the moment. anyway i don't have any contract with the company, i can just go like that. and i will see how C copes with it.
HAHA! HAHA! HAHA!
feels really bad right. of course, i won't do such things. i will work till AP closes, that is the minimum.

thinking of the pay, my pay for april is not bad. haha. that is the ONLY thing i look forward to at the end of the month. that is the ONLY pushing force for me to continue working in this company. i feel that i am very pathetic. others work for fun, their interest, i work for money. that is definitely not my aim when i started work. i want to gain experience. of course, $ was on the list when i started work. well... MORE OTs for month of may please!

i also thought of the holiday that i deserve. am i really enjoying my holiday? i thought of the future when i start university. i won't get any deserved breaks for 3, 4 years?
time really flies. it is MAY already. 6 months of my holidays are gone. 3 more months. it is still not too late for me to really enjoy.

driving yesterday and today!
haha, it was fun as usual. the instructor keep saying some lame things like " u know why the bus stopped in front of the traffic light? " i said " because it is red light. " he said " because they have to reach the interchange within a situated timing. " wah. sian face.
then he said he used to be a taxi-driver too, said he can predict how long and how much is the trip to a place when a passenger asked him. and he was right. accurate. but i guess its heng only la. haha.
he also asked me a riddle. "a plane flight to KL took 1 hour. why does the flight back took 2hours 30 mins? " i was lazy to think because have to concentrate on driving so i just asked him the answer. haha. quite lame also la.
he also said he passed the driving test the first time and his instructor look at him throughout the test la, so scary. really look at you de.
anyway, learnt left turns, lane change, follow traffic rules, blind spots, pedestrains crossing the road... i didn't look at the blind spots most of the time and forgot to look at mirrors. sian. must change this bad habit.
just now also nearly hit a kerb and the instructor was very kan jiong(in a good way) , he quickly helped me to turn the steering wheel back. wah. scared he angry. his car is quite new, around 6 months old only. heng la.
took me to one test route today... quite a lot of L drivers there.
must keep up on my driving and read up on the book!

my company extend me for another 1 more month... till end may. it is good news - 1. i don't need to find another job and go for interviews all that. 2. i can earn another 1 more month of salary. 3. i won't waste my time.
but...
i feel quite sick of working there already. all i did was just matching of invoices, data entry, payment vouchers, cheques... very bored of all these. i am not learning any new things like coding.
just like today, i did matching and writing pv numbers all day... super sian. and the matching got a lot of problems, no d.o, no p.o... i rather do the matching of another company... sian. somemore i will get the chance to stay OT if i help the other company. argh. shouldn't they ask me what i want to do or help which company? well, that is the bad thing about being a temp.
i want to stay OT!!! i want to learn coding!!! most companies won't teach temp a lot of stuff... i know that. haiz. but since i am staying, teach me some new things? or my life at work will be very mundane.
argh. i am not sure why i still feels unhappy despite the extension... maybe i want a new environment. but finding a job is tough. i am lazy. sian. and i still hates my boss. =.=
i realised that i can't do accountancy. i had only been working in an accounts department for 4 months and i am already sick of it. perhaps a temp accounts assistant is a tough job. maybe higher rank people had it easier and it is more interesting. but somehow, my colleagues(some of them quite high rank) told me never to take up accountancy. why? and the interviewers at smu told me higher rank accountants is much better.
wah. 2 different opinions.
but all these are not as important now. i must get an offer first.

it was fun as usual. funny too.
did stage 1.10 and 1.11 . hehe. did the blind spots and signals, change gears, look at the mirrors, moving off and stopping at kerbs...
when we stopped at a kerb, my instructor saw a 5cent coin and he picked up. then he say must buy 4D, very lucky to see $ when we stopped randomly... haha. he also said if he win, he will treat me...
went on a different route this time. was still a bit nervous, don't really know need to change down when turning. need to change according to road conditions... hmm. more practice.
next lesson is on next sat... waiting. haha.

was very angry with my boss yesterday...
my boss told me on wednesday that i can't help out with the work of one small company. i must do the work for the big company first, then if the small company need help, MAYBE i can go help them. then, yesterday, the new staff from the small company asked me to help her to do matching of invoices. i helped a little and then helped the big company when the people gave me work to do. at around 5.10pm when it is going to go home, i was doing work for the big company and so i asked the other temp staff to help me carry the invoices for the small company to the person in-charge. and the temp told my boss that i helped the small company. =.= well, then my boss asked me to go see her. she said " what are you doing just now? helping the small company? i told you not to help the small company. i deduct your salary ah. " smth like that... i was stunned, not sure what to say. then the temp said " she just helped to arrange the invoices, didn't do matching. " i said " ya, ya, i just arranged the invoices from A to Z "(but of course, i also helped matching too)... then my boss said that i cannot do that again, if the small company need help, the person will ask her first then i can help her.
WAH! IDIOTIC! really angry with my boss. the temp too. not sure why she told my boss. for what reason???
but my boss is also very... ... is like they want to see how the new person can cope with the workload. but in the end, the small company still have to do the closing for the month. and i will need to stay OT (which is a good thing to me, ONLY) to help clear the matching and keying. the new person had only came for work for only 3 weeks plus? and you EXPECT her to know EVERYTHING? who do you think she are? genius? put yourself in other people's shoes, RIGHT? imagine you are the new-comer, and your boss expect you to know everything. how would you feel? what's more is the boss complain that you can't finish. its a new environment afterall. and it is not even a month into the new job. PLEASE!
really don't understand what they are thinking. DON'T KNOW HOW TO ALLOCATE WORK PROPERLY, DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE HUMAN RESOURCES EFFICIENTLY. no wonder say need cut costs, when you are still buying some computer stuff... CONTRADICTION!

went DRIVING today for 2 lessons!!! YEAH! nice! fun!
i went at 0800 and 1220. i learnt the changing of gears till the 4th one, according to the road conditions... MAIN ROAD! haha, but we just went nearby, like the bukit batok polyclinic... nice nice. but i think i start the car too late and someone HORN at me! wah. was shocked. i thought they would be more tolerant towards learners. i also stalled ONCE when the traffic light turns green. luckily, the car behind us was from the same family. at least only ONCE. :) the instructor talked some crap stuff like when we past by a banner that says $2 chicken rice, he said you eat chicken rice? very cheap la... something like that la. then look out for the dogs and birds on the roads... wah lau eh. he also said that instructors should talk more, to communicate with the learner, so the relationship will be better and easier to teach...
but i am not sure when to change up, i always need to look at the speedometer. and my instructor was a little little bit frustrated because he always have to say "huan gia" ( in hokkien i think ) or move his hands upwards. haha.
second lesson i learnt intermittent braking and negotiating sharp turns... was okay except that i hit the kerb! wah. during test i think its immediate failure. doing the half-clutch and 1.5 acceleration thing. quite interesting. but my braking improve! ( i feel ) haha. excited for tomorrow's lesson. stage 1.10 bah.
hehe.
there is one thing my instructor say... my surname is NG. then he said NG = not good. wah sian. but he is joking la. haha. quite funny. i didn't know that till he said la. haha. but i will prove to him that NG = good.

went for practice for ftt and evaluation yesterday.
took the CCK bus from the office. haha. actually don't really want to take but nvm. didn't regret taking. the colleague who i think don't really like me and is quite scary asked me to sit at the seat in front and she sat with me. i was super shocked. and she started to chat with me! wah. asked me questions like when school start, what i want to study, talked about extending my contract matter, new staff coming... ... i kind of changed my opinion of her. she is not bad la. but after talking for a while ( like 10mins ), we didn't talked because i don't have anything to ask her or chat with her. (i was quite afraid of her from when i started working in this company till now) so there was silence till she alighted. and she said BYE to me. woah. another shocking matter. i was shocked and i don't know what to say at the moment. i said '' oh. okay. " then i quickly said BYE before she alighted. don't know if she heard it. hopefully la, or she will think i am rude or whatever. haha. anyway, it was a good experience.
i found out that this colleague is quite friendly and nice afterall. during lunchtime these few days, she also talked to me. not bad la.
during lunchtime today, we talked about some scary shows and then she suddenly said " don't talk about this la, later xiao mei (me) got nightmares ". wah. surprised. haha. not bad. but the only pity thing is that i get to talk more with my colleagues only when i have only 2 weeks or less left with the company. it is really a pity. i enjoy talking with my colleagues during lunchtime. it is the only time when we can get together and talk. i feel that colleagues should be like this. chat with each other and not just do the work all the time. can't even eat in peace, after eating have to get back to work IMMEDIATELY. NO LIFE AT ALL! only work work work. super sian. don't u feel that ur life is just only about working? aiyo. haiz...
well, nvm. i can't care about what others like to do. but i hope i can talk with my colleagues during lunchtime for the next 10+ days. very nice.

anyway, back to driving matters.
i reached CCK at around 5.50pm. the journey was quite fast. perhaps its a small van, so it moves faster. i didn't know the place well so i just walked into the shopping centre, looking for the mrt. wanted to walk around at first, but feet were full of blisters. very pain. then i saw ceo. he saw me first and i was surprised. he was with somebody. well, then i continue to walk to the mrt. was deciding to take 188 or the mrt, decided on the mrt as i thought it would be cheaper. i was wrong. the journey from CCK to bukit gombak is the same as from JE to clementi. 80cents. sian. then i found out that taking 188 only costs 69cents. haiz. anyway, i ate the $1.80 chicken rice at the mrt station. not bad, enough rice, enough chicken. worth it.
started to walk to BBDC, then saw pasa malam, walked around for a while. was quite tempted to buy some foodstuff to munch on but ate the chicken rice already. haiz. walked to BBDC and then saw the BBDC bus, i wanted to board it but was sian to walk back to the mrt. wrong to make the decision, because my feet hurt a lot while walking. argh. at least i can digest the chicken rice i ate.
reached BBDC at 6.40pm then went to use the computer to see the slots... wanted to have the last slot for driving. only $48.48 i think. cheaper than other slots. but is not my instructor...
then went up to room 7 on level 3... waited for a while then i saw the theory instructor that is quite handsome la. nice. was hoping he will stay for the next session which is my evaluation. and he did. :) haha. passed my evaluation but only got 49/50. NEVER got full marks for once even for practice!!! sian. don't know why. SIAN.

anyway, driving is FUN! change gears, clutch... i am learning how to do the biting point already... hehe. :)

interview at SMU accountancy...
took a cab there as i scared i will be late but in the end, the interview started late... wah. my $21.40. ERP, Peak Hour surcharge... well. nvm. its okay.
then the interview started. asked me some questions. i was stumped. don't really know how to answer. then after some talk, asked me about whether accountancy is my first choice. an honest answer: no.
then i think one of the people was quite sian after hearing my answer. it is human nature, so i don't blame. because that is really my honest answer. well. then they were telling me that i should give it a second thought, a serious one, whether accountancy is for me, whether it is worth it to study something that you don't really like for 4 years. i think what they say is quite true, but first, they have to give me the chance to give it a serious thought. give me a chance.
overall, the interview was quite bad. broken english, stammer, no answers... wah. small chance.

anyway, after that, went ps for a while then went home... changed and then set off to practice for ftt and practical lesson. was super tired and sian at the practice... keep yawning. i think 2 practices at a time is quite a lot, especially you are very tired. luckily, the driving lesson is okay. learnt how to brake properly, change from 2nd to 3rd, then 3rd to 2nd gear, left turns, change gear during turning ( learnt this before but now is 2nd to 3rd i think ). haven't got the chance to get out of the circuit! next lesson... haha. but i think the instructor still feels i am not up to it yet, so maybe 30 mins for the next lesson in circuit then the next in main road! quite excited. my instructor is not bad... hehe. said some funny things. but half of the time, it was silence. don't really know what to talk about. actually wanted to say about my interview, but felt it was inappropriate.
anyway, it only gets better!

long holiday... really. i woke up these 2 days, thinking that it was sunday and have to go work the next day... and it is really sunday today. haha. sadly, work tomorrow...
quite sian of work because it is the same thing over and over again.
well.

anyway, went bugis yesterday with jl and hy! had fun! we went to have lunch at one hongkong cafe... but it is not very nice. after that, we embarked on our shopping spree! i bought a top and a cardigan. :) actually wanted to buy a covered shoe. but it is not suitable although it is quite nice to me. some new shops at bugis street! not bad. sales!!! we had bought what we intend to buy, i think... haha. but, there will be a next time for us to continue our shopping!
regretted a bit for not buying the pink tank top to wear with the top i bought... hmm. next time bah!

some sad news... i have no tuition anymore. but somehow felt relieved too. just that lesser $.
i have to find job soon... not sure when is my last day of work.

went class outing yesterday... actually wanted to go sentosa with them but was quite tired. heard from them that it rained and they played for only around 1 hour. anyway, meet up with them at 7pm at marche. the queue was quite long and we waited for around 20mins i think. chatted and have lots of laughter. haha. talked about uni stuff, work, army and others. it is quite good to have a gathering once in a while... like a get-together. not bad.
after marche, we went to one restaurant under the singapore flyer to get free drinks... haha. i think the waitress there was quite bu shuang, because we only ordered 3 pancakes and just get free drinks. and the whole restaurant was very empty. so we sort of 'booked' the whole restaurant. haha.
we sat there till it closed, at around 11pm. then we walked back to city hall mrt. yeah, got transport back to je mrt from xf's mother. :) thanks!

hmm.
later going bugis with jl and hy! yeah. feel like buying some things... must shop to the fullest!
actually there is a driving slot at 12.20pm later, and i wanted to take it, but think about it, i booked quite a lot of slots before my FTT, so well, i didn't booked. anyway, don't really feel like going driving later, because i didn't read up on the next stage. nvm, next lesson is on next tuesday, after my interview... having practice first before practical.
hopefully, my interview will be smooth-sailing because i haven't really thought of what i really want to do yet.

did OT today! yeah. it was a very last minute thing. i had packed my bag and was ready to go, but my colleague ask me to wait for me so i waited in the office for a while. then i went to talk with another colleague and she asked me if i am staying back. i said no one asked me to stay and i asked her if she need me to stay back. then she called my boss and i can stay! haha. was quite happy because i really feel like staying back. more $. :)
so today's OT cover my expenses for yesterday and tomorrow...
went to celebrate jl's birthday yesterday at nyny at jp... HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIALU! :) had lots of laughter and fun... really laughed a lot. played some games (truth or dare)... some exciting stories. hmm. still thinking whether to... haha. anyway, drank a bottle of beer too. haha, spent close to $30 yesterday just for dinner. quite heart-ached. so was happy when i got the chance for OT.

so, for OT, had KFC for dinner. my boss is really a stingy person, or should i say know how to keep costs low. well, at first, my colleague who asked me to stay back told me to photocopy some documents first, and my boss heard our conversation. then she say "huh? u asked her to stay back just to photocopy?" then i heard something like its not worth or what. and my colleague said later asking me to do something else... wah. really. well. so i did some photocopying and keying in some data. then it was dinner time. i ate for about 1 hour. HAHA. because i had nothing to do after eating, so i eat more and chat with my colleagues. one of my colleague know how to speak cantonese, so tried to learn some, but to no avail. learnt some hokkien too, but also not very good. then my boss again. she said in cantonese, don't learn now, its working time now. wah. really very... ... haiz. hmm. it was 7.30pm then. and i heard my boss asking me something like u want to go home now? i didn't answer then i went around asking people to let me do something. did some slack work like filing, photocopying, writing some stuff. really nice doing OT.
but i think i ate KFC like 3 out of the 5 times i stayed back. ate mac and pizza the other 2 times. wah. so fattening. but today, i ate the chicken, felt quite shiok and blessed that i can eat. haha. don't know why i felt this way but its a good thing anyway. maybe it was a very long time since i had ate the chicken.

going vivo tomorrow... not sure whether want to go sentosa. see how it goes tomorrow first.
my OT pay will be useful... :)

received a call from NTU saying i had got into a course...
i was quite happy at that time. but to my dismay, i asked my brother and he said the other course is better. and actually i put the other course for my first choice, but due to some reasons, i changed and i put the course that i got in as my first choice. aww... felt very sad now.
i will read more about the course i got in and determine whether it is really for me before i try to appeal during the appeal period...
hopefully, NUS will give me a better option...

2nd practical lesson!!!
haha. i realised my instrcutor is not bad. he say learn slowly, one at a time... then won't pick up all those bad habits. the foundation must be good...
he gave me sweets too. not bad la. just that nothing much to talk about.
i only learned stopping and moving off, change gears during right turns... did right turns throughout the lesson. quite fun. hopefully, next lesson i will be doing left turns and then go out on the roads!!!
my next lesson is 9 days later, i scared i will forget...
haha. quite excited la.

i just read a blog and found the entries quite meaningful...
the person knows what she wants to do and her goal is clear.
hmm. then i thought of myself. do i really want this? will i be happy?
well, SMU called me for an interview for the school of accountancy. do i really want to get into accountancy? my current job is related to accounts and somehow, i don't really have the interest although i think it is quite interesting to know about the company's financial status. those accounts stuff. taxes, gst, reports... when my colleague is teaching me how to do something then they explain why are they doing this, i am not really listening. i just want to get it done without understanding what it is for. sometimes, not all the times. hmm. i am still unsure of what i really want to do, although i had a vague idea of my interest.
well, hopefully i will get into the course i want and not regret.
anyway, good luck for my interview at SMU on the 14th april, 9.30am.
i am keeping my choices open for the moment.

1st practical lesson!!!
was quite excited and nervous.
my group only had one instructor. car 168. yi lu fa!!! :)
he said people in his group very lucky because he is the instructor... haha. quite funny la.
but, nothing much to say too.
well, so we checked the car, he showed me how to change tyres, checked the lights, wiper, engine, battery level, radiator, all those...
then test the 3 pedals, accelerate, brake, clutch. clutch was difficult, had to release to biting point... quite tired. at first i can do it, then the next minute i cannot do it. sian. but in the beginning, he said ''are you sure you didn't learn driving before?'' haha. but after he said that, i made a lot of mistakes... haiz. cannot be overly confident. after that, learnt to accelerate, reverse. then did right turns. always forgot to change gears to neutral after the brake. aww. quite paiseh also...
hopefully, subsequent lessons will be more fun and i will improve.

anyway, stayed back for 2 times this week... actually can stay back for the third time but due to some matters, i didn't. was very tired too. can't really open my eyes at around 8plus last night. so it is good that i didn't stayed. earned quite a bit for the 2 OTs... :) hehe. not bad. think that time will be the last time i stayed back... 2 more weeks to go. and i have to find another job. well. i want to stay back for the last time! i want to eat sakae sushi!!! haha. must try those food that i don't usually eat when i got the chance to stay again! yeah!

tuition is a frustration once again... the mother didn't tell me when is the next lesson. i must always sms her first and give in to her. actually, the reason why i give in is because i don't want to lose this tuition... sian. i have thought to give up tuition and just keep to my 5-day work week. 2 days rest. the $ is the only push to keep me going for the tuition. it is not much though, but it can help to pay my handphone bills, transportation, and perhaps my lunch for 1 month.

i will think about it again.
